Day 1: Explore Iceland's South Coast

Shake off that overnight flight from the US with an immediate plunge into the milky-blue waters of the Blue Lagoon, just 15 minutes away from the airport. Feel your travel stress dissolve as you immerse yourself in the geothermal warmth. But the adventure is just beginning! Hop in your rental car and embark on a breathtaking drive toward Vik, along Iceland’s dramatic South Coast, where every turn unveils a new natural wonder. Prepare to be awestruck by the cascading veil of the Seljalandsfoss waterfall—yes, you can actually walk behind it! Feel the earth tremble beneath your feet at the mighty Skógafoss waterfall, where a climb to the top rewards you with panoramic views. And for a touch of mystery, seek out the enchanting Hidden Waterfall, a secret gem waiting to be discovered. Day one is just a taste of Iceland’s magic!
Day 2: Horseback ride along Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach & visit the Glacier Lagoon

Begin the day with an Icelandic horseback ride along the stunning Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach in Vik. From there, journey to the Glacier Lagoon for an afternoon of breathtaking scenery. Make a stop at Diamond Beach to witness the ancient glacial ice scattered on the black sand. Choose to kayak among the floating glaciers in the lagoon or, weather permitting, explore the mesmerizing blue ice caves within the glacier itself.
Day 3: Visit Hvammsvik Hot Springs & head to Reykjavik

This morning, head back along the scenic South Coast toward Reykjavik, with a stop at Hvammsvik Hot Springs. Immerse yourself in the natural beauty of this unique geothermal bathing experience on the Atlantic Ocean’s edge. The springs feature eight natural pools filled with a blend of geothermal water from 1,400 meters underground and seawater. The pools, made of natural rock, vary in temperature and are known for their tranquil ambiance and stunning views.
After your soak, head to Reykjavik, the vibrant capital city that awaits your exploration. Stroll along the charming Rainbow Road, leading your eye toward the majestic Hallgrímskirkja church. Discover unique treasures in local shops before finishing your day with a truly unforgettable experience: the Funky Food and Beer Tour with Funky Iceland. Prepare your taste buds for a delightful adventure through Icelandic history as you stroll downtown, finishing at a local pub for Icelandic brew.
Day 4: Explore Iceland's Golden Circle

Today, explore Iceland's renowned Golden Circle, starting with Þingvellir National Park. Situated in a rift valley between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates, the area offers a profound sense of tranquility and is the birthplace of Iceland. Discover its unique geological formations and rich history—with opportunities for hiking and diving for the adventurous—in the Silfra fissure.
Continue to Great Geyser, the origin of the word “geyser,” and witness the frequent and magnificent eruptions of Strokkur, located nearby. From here, a short 10-minute drive will bring you to the enormous double-tiered cascade of Gullfoss Waterfall, known for its impressive mist and rainbows if the sun is shining.
Finish your day with a relaxing soak in the Secret Lagoon. This serene geothermal bathing spot, nestled amid moss-covered lava fields and geothermal features, provides an authentic Icelandic experience complete with the small, regularly erupting Litli Geysir.
Day 5: Visit the Sky Lagoon's spa before heading home

Savor a delicious breakfast at Sandholt bakery before heading to the Sky Lagoon for its seven-step spa ritual. Start with a soak in warm waters on the infinity lagoon, followed by a series of cold plunges, saunas, steam rooms, and body scrubs. Raise a final toast to your unforgettable Icelandic getaway with a drink from the lagoon bar before you head to the airport for your flight home.
