Curator’s statement
Khanom, Thailand, holds a special place in my heart for so many reasons. I spent a month there, and during that time, I stumbled upon what I believe to be the best and most affordable chicken fried rice in all of Thailand. The flavors were unreal, and I still dream about it! But it wasn’t just the food that won me over — it was the incredible hospitality that made me feel like I was truly part of the community. Khanom felt like a hidden gem, the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of life. And of course, there’s something magical about knowing that you’re in a place where the infamous Pink Dolphins call home. It’s a blend of peace, authenticity and a touch of wonder that makes Khanom unforgettable for me.
