There are many galleries and museums to choose from, but The Georgia O'Keefe Museum, New Mexico Museum of Art, The Museum of Indian Arts and Culture and Meow Wolf Santa Fe are must-sees!

Voted one of the "Top Ten Farmers' Markets" by Sunset Magazine, this market boasts more than 150 farmers and producers in Northern New Mexico.

Attend a Summer Event

If you find yourself in Santa Fe during the summer months, you can attend one of the many festivals or markets. Some of the best ones include The International Folk Art Market, Santa Fe Indian Market, Traditional Spanish Market, Santa Fe Annual Wine Festival and PRIDE Santa Fe.

The burning of Zozobra takes place in early September and is like nothing you've ever seen. Join this incredible celebration and say goodbye to your gloom in a fiery display!

There are many beautiful hikes to enjoy in and around Santa Fe. A few of the best parks and trails include Aspen Vista Trail, Bandelier, Abiquiu Ghost Ranch, Tent Rocks National Monument and Camel Rock.

Known for its rich Native American culture, Santa Fe and the surrounding areas include a number of pueblos that are open to visitors. Taos Pueblo is one that you will definitely want to check out.

If you're looking for a fun day trip from Santa Fe, consider checking out the Rio Grande Gorge Bridge. It's the 5th highest bridge in the world and offers spectacular views of the gorge.

Chimayo

The village of Chimayo is tucked in the foothills of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. While visiting Chimayo, be sure to visit El Santuario de Chimayo historic church, a contemporary pilgrimage site.

Madrid

This charming old coal mining town is located on the Turquoise Trail just 45 minutes from Santa Fe. It's a great little town to walk around, and it offers some unique shops and restaurants.

Places to eat & drink in Santa Fe

Breakfast burrito on a wooden board.

Breakfast

For the best New Mexican breakfast you can find, including delicious breakfast burritos with red and green chile, consider Tia Sophia's, El Chile Toreado and The Pantry.

Lunch

There are many wonderful lunch options in Santa Fe. My personal favorite is The Shed, which serves up the best green chile cheese enchiladas I've ever eaten! If you want to enjoy both the red and green chile, be sure to order it "Christmas." For another great lunch option, you may also enjoy The Plaza Cafe.

Dinner

For a delicious dinner, you will definitely want to check out Tomasita's. A visit to Cowgirl BBQ is also a great time!
