Places to eat & drink in Capri

The "MUST-HAVE" ravioli from La Capannina leaves you wanting more!
Villa Verde: A chic, garden-style restaurant tucked away in the heart of Capri town, known for its lively energy and refined Mediterranean cuisine.

La Capannina: A Capri institution since 1931, La Capannina offers authentic island cuisine in a warm, family-run setting. Famous for its ravioli alla caprese and frequented by celebrities over the decades, it’s a must-visit for traditional flavors.
Bianca Rooftop: Perched atop Hotel La Palma, Bianca Rooftop offers a glamorous dining experience with sweeping views of Capri. The menu, curated by two-star Michelin Chef Gennaro Esposito, features innovative Italian dishes, including a standout Wagyu burger. Enjoy cocktails under the stars in this chic setting.
Da Paolino: Dine beneath a canopy of lemon trees at this Capri institution—charming, rustic, and unforgettable.

Need to know
Capri can get quite busy during peak summer months, so I recommend visiting in late May or early September for ideal weather and fewer crowds. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes—the most charming parts of the island are walkable but often involve stairs and cobblestone paths. Don’t skip Anacapri either—it’s quieter, more local, and every bit as magical. If you’re arriving from Naples, a private transfer is well worth the splurge to start your trip with ease. And if you’re staying on the island, consider using a porter service for your luggage—navigating the hills and stone streets with heavy bags is no easy feat!
