Day 1: Arrival

Upon landing at Los Cabos International Airport, go through immigration and customs procedures before getting into your pre-arranged car service to the hotel so you have no issues fitting everyone and their luggage. Arrive at The Cape, a Thompson Hotel, and check in. Take some time to settle into your room and enjoy the amazing views that exist from every room on property!

Evening: Drinks & Dinner

Meet back up with the group at The Cape's Sunken Bar for a refreshing drink and to really get this vacation started! Grab a car and head out to Edith's for dinner. This restaurant has a super festive and colorful aesthetic. Don't miss some of their signature tableside offerings like Caesar Salad and Flambéed Coffee.

Day 2: Beach club & massages

Morning

Breakfast at The Cape: Start your day with a delightful breakfast at The Cape, enjoying the beautiful ocean views from an outdoor table.

Late Morning

Sur Beach Club: Since the beach at The Cape is pretty rocky and not great for swimming head to Sur Beach Club after breakfast. Spend a few hours alternating between sunbathing on the beach or floating in the ocean, all with a margarita in hand - of course! Pro tip: Check the minimum spend at Sur Beach Club as this can change seasonally.

Afternoon

You can either stay at Sur Beach Club for lunch or walk along the beachfront and pop into one of the many other options available in the area.

Massages at the Sand Bar: Indulge in a little relaxation with a massage at the Sand Bar. This may not be a fancy spa experience, but it's super affordable, the massages are amazing and you are steps away from the waves!

Evening

Dinner: Head over to the Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal for dinner at one of their restaurants, El Farallon. Make an early dinner reservation to enjoy the stunning sunset views on top of the cliffs. The restaurant displays the day's catch and offerings on a chalkboard, providing everything is nothing but the freshest. Pro tip: Try the Guava Margarita!

Day 3: Flora Farms

Morning

Breakfast at The Cape: Start your day with another amazing breakfast at The Cape. Make sure to try the Truffled Fried Egg Sandwich.

Late Morning

Flora Farms: After breakfast, head to Flora Farms, a renowned organic farm, about 35 minutes from the hotel. Get a behind the scenes tour of the property and all the different things that are produced right there on site, including a carrot margarita - yes, it is really carrots and yes, it is amazing. After your tour participate in a cooking class where you'll learn hands-on how to prepare authentic Mexican dishes like salsa, guacamole and fresh tortillas using fresh, farm-grown ingredients.

Lunch

Lunch at Flora Farms: After the cooking class, you'll have the opportunity to savor the dishes you prepared during the class, accompanied by farm-fresh salads, the best fish tacos and perhaps another one of Flora Farms' signature cocktails (go for the Wild Hibiscus Margarita this time).

Afternoon

Exploration Time: Spend some time exploring more of the grounds at Flora Farms. Take a stroll through the beautiful gardens, visit the farm animals, and check out the stores for a little shopping.

Late Afternoon

Return to Your Hotel: Head back to your hotel and relax for a bit by the pool. Then it's time to freshen up and get ready for your evening dinner plans.

Evening

Dinner at La Lupita: For dinner, visit La Lupita, a popular local restaurant known for its authentic Mexican cuisine and vibrant atmosphere. Indulge in a variety of tacos, salsas and other traditional dishes. Fun fact: This is Thomas Keller's (of The French Laundry) favorite taco spot, which is more than good enough for me!

Nighttime in Cabo: After dinner, consider exploring the vibrant nightlife of Cabo San Lucas.

Day 4: Boat day

Morning

Breakfast at The Cape: You probably have a favorite breakfast table by now as you sip your morning coffee looking out at the water. Savor a hearty meal and fuel up for a day of adventure.

Afternoon

Private Boat Tour with Seashine Adventures: Embrace traveling in a group to rent your own private 4-hour boat tour with Seashine Adventures. This personalized excursion will start by cruising out to see the famous El Arco up close. Later in the day you can partake in snorkeling, swimming and paddle boarding in the crystal-clear waters of the Sea of Cortez. I highly recommend going during whale watching season for a chance to witness these majestic creatures in their natural habitat. Your guide will provide fresh and high-quality food and drinks onboard, so you don't have to worry about a thing!

Evening

Dinner at Outpost: For dinner, make your way to Outpost, an urban farm-to-table experience with its own organic rooftop providing the restaurant with almost all of their own vegetables and herbs. Whether you prefer seafood, steak, or vegetarian options; Outpost offers a wide range of choices to choose from.

Day 5: Poolside, spa & rooftop cocktails

women-standing-cabo-travel-guide

Morning

Breakfast at The Cape: Today is your last full day in Cabo so be sure to begin your day with a leisurely breakfast and get ready to enjoy all the amenities this resort has to offer.

Late Morning

After breakfast, make your way to your private cabana by the pool (be sure to reserve this in advance!) The pricing is very reasonable, especially for a group, and can be used towards food and beverages throughout the day. Spend the day lounging in your dedicated chairs and cabana, enjoying the Cabo sun and taking refreshing dips in the pool.

Lunch

Poolside Dining: Continue to enjoy your day by ordering drinks and lunch right at your cabana. The Chicken Club Sandwich is absolutely a good move here!

Afternoon

Spa Time: In the late afternoon, take a break from the pool and indulge in a relaxing massage at the hotel spa. Let skilled therapists work their magic, rejuvenating your body and mind.

Evening

Sunset Cocktails at The Rooftop: As the sun starts to set, make your way to The Rooftop at The Cape. Enjoy a cocktail with breathtaking views of the coastline and the Pacific Ocean.

Freshen Up: Head back to your room to freshen up and prepare for a memorable evening.

Dinner at Manta: For your final dinner in Cabo, head to Manta, a concept by Enrique Olvera that celebrates Pacific coast cultures taking inspiration from Mexico, Peru, Japan and beyond. Opt for their tasting menu to experience a true culinary journey that you won't forget.
