Things to do Punta Cana

Beach in Punta Cana during sunset, reflecting light against clouds, ocean and sand with straw huts and palm trees.

Punta Cana has some of the most amazing beaches in the Caribbean, and many all-inclusive resorts are located right on the beach.

However, if you want to get away from the resort for a day, the island has some of the best snorkeling in the Caribbean.

There are also a myriad of options for romantic sunset sailings.

For the adventurous types, there are some amazing landscapes for ATV rides and zip-line adventures.

Places to eat & drink Punta Cana

Red seafood stew with unpeeled shrimp and rice.

All inclusive resorts have everything you need onsite (all meals, room service, and drinks). However, for those that want to venture into town, here are some suggestions:

Citrus Restaurant: Authentic Caribbean cuisine and some of the best ceviche in town.

La Palapa by Eden Roc: Good food and amazing views!

Wacamole: Looking for a fun night out? This is the place.

Herman 311 Bar & Restaurant: Great drinks and known for their lobster special.

Montserrat Manor Restaurant: One of the nicest restaurants on the island.
