Things to do in Greenville, South Carolina

Stroll Falls Park on the Reedy
This is the Greenville experience. Think gardens, river views, and a stunning waterfall right in the middle of downtown. It’s peaceful, romantic, and totally Instagram-worthy.
Bike (or walk) the Swamp Rabbit Trail
Grab a bike or your comfiest sneakers and hit this scenic trail that winds through the city and beyond. It’s the perfect mix of nature and local charm.
Catch a show at the Peace Center
Live music, Broadway tours, comedians—you name it. The vibe is upscale but still cozy, and there’s not a bad seat in the house.
Explore the village of West Greenville
This little pocket of town is full of local art, quirky boutiques, and cool gallery spaces. It’s where Greenville’s creative side really shines.
Hang out at Unity Park
Brand new and beautifully done. There are walking trails, splash pads for the kiddos, and plenty of spots to just sit and vibe.
Go on a food tour (or make your own)
Greenville’s food scene is a whole experience. Whether you join a guided tasting tour or hop around on your own, you’ll eat very well here.
Wander the Greenville County Museum of Art
If you love Southern artists or just want a quiet moment indoors, this museum has depth and will be time well spent.
Catch some rooftop vibes at Juniper
Sip craft cocktails with skyline views in one of the most beautifully designed rooftop spots that you don’t want to miss.
Places to eat & drink in Greenville, South Carolina

Where to eat
Jianna: Stylish, modern Italian with a rooftop view. You’ll find on the menu freshly shucked oysters, artisanal spirits, and wines that embrace the flavors of Italy and the United States.
Soby’s New South Cuisine: A Greenville classic. Elevated Southern-inspired food with all the hits—shrimp & grits, fried green tomatoes, and a dreamy brunch lineup.
The Anchorage: Small plates, big flavor. Tucked in the village of West Greenville, this spot delivers seasonal, chef-driven dishes in a cozy setting.
Larkin’s on the River: One of my favorites and perfect for a power lunch or date night. Expect polished service, classic steaks, and riverside dining that feels luxe without being stiff.
Camp Modern American Eatery: A quick Google search will land you here. It’s trendy, bold, and always delicious. Known for their beautiful plating and unique twists on familiar favorites.
Basilica Greenville: Looking for great Italian? Look no further. It’s authentic, farm-to-table, and delicious.
White Wine & Butter: Seafood boil with a whole lot of flavor and even more soul. It’s the kind of place you wear stretchy pants on purpose (thank me later). Everything’s seasoned right.
Rick Erwin’s West End Grille: An old-school, white-tablecloth steakhouse that’s big on service and bigger on portions. Classic and reliable.
Where to sip & lounge
Juniper: Greenville’s rooftop showstopper. Skyline views, floral decor, and drinks that taste as good as they look.
Neat Bourbon Bar: If bourbon is your thing, this is your place. Cozy, well-curated, with a knowledgeable team behind the bar.
Bar Margaret: Fun, funky, and full of personality. A great neighborhood vibe that feels like your cool friend’s kitchen party.
Vault & Vator: Speakeasy-style cocktail bar with dim lighting, vintage vibes, and mixologists who know their stuff. Best for date night or an upscale pre-dinner sip.
Southernside Brewing Co.: Relaxed brewery right on the Swamp Rabbit Trail. Live music, casual bites, and outdoor seating—perfect post-bike-ride chill spot.
Up on the Roof: Another rooftop contender with craft cocktails and shareable small plates. Go for golden hour and thank me later.
