My Travel Style

Travel has always been an integral part of my life. Growing up as the daughter of a diplomat, I was given the unique opportunity to live in several countries across the Middle East, Europe, and the United States and to immerse myself in various cultures. The accidental, yet fantastic by-product of this lifestyle is the unwavering passion for travel. As an adult, while living in New York, Istanbul, and Dubai, I meticulously planned trips to over thirty countries across Europe, the Americas, the Middle East, Asia, and Australia.

Today, my edge stems from my wealth of knowledge emanating from years of living in different parts of the world, extensive travel as well as friendships and relationships spanning the world. My taste for simple luxury, ongoing destination research, and passion for the pursuit of the genuine provide me with the tools to build authentic bespoke itineraries for my clients.

Zeina deserves more than 5 stars. She puts her passion into finding the best solution for what you require, offering service that goes above and beyond what you can expect. She surprises you positively with ideas that you might not have thought about. And handles any issue that might come up with extreme rapidity and courtesy. Our recent trip to Japan, meticulously organized by Wondertrunk, was an absolutely phenomenal experience from start to finish. The planning was impeccable, ensuring our logistics and transport were flawlessly executed, which made navigating Japan incredibly smooth and stress-free. The hotel selections were truly spot-on, each providing a unique and wonderful experience. The Four Seasons in Tokyo offered unparalleled luxury, the traditional Ryokan provided an authentic cultural immersion, and Hotel The Mitsui in Kyoto was simply superb. We thoroughly enjoyed the sightseeing schedule; it was perfectly balanced—never too packed, yet ensuring we didn't miss any of the main attractions. Every day felt like a new discovery. The culinary journey throughout the trip was amazing. The “omakase” experience, in particular, was not just about food but a profound lesson in life, with each dish surpassing the last and us submitting to the chef. We also had the pleasure of discovering a few additional gems: Mouriya Gion (visited on Thursday, June 5, 2025), the unbelievably good Sushi Saeki (Friday, June 6, 2025), and the wonderfully slurpy Osaka Engine Ramen (Sunday, June 8, 2025). Our guides were exceptional, especially our Tea Master, who provided a truly memorable and insightful tea experience, and our guide in Kyoto, who brought the city's rich history to life. The Tea and Sake experiences were definite highlights, adding unique cultural layers to our adventure. A special mention must go to our travel expert, Zeina. She was truly exceptional, listening very carefully to our brief and designing a trip that was uniquely for us, not a cookie-cutter solution. She was always happy to change directions whenever needed, incredibly well-informed, and supported by a strong local team. My wife and I genuinely felt that our experience really mattered to her. We will certainly be returning to Zeina for any future trips where meticulous planning, solid local knowledge, and a real sense for quality are paramount.
