My Story
Project-Management professional based in Austin, TX who loves creating memorable, meaningful experiences and adventures.
My Travel Style
Growing up, I had formative travel experiences from the Pacific Northwest to Europe and South America, and want others to experience the joy of place. Now I have a home base in Austin, Texas and still believe a beautiful night sleeping under the stars in a tent, or in a luxurious hotel bed both have their places in my life of adventure. A day full of exploration in the jungle or the mountains, followed by a relaxing evening with a glass of wine and a sauna is my ideal vacation. This year has included Puerto Rico, Boston, DC, camping along the California coast and continuing to travel around Texas.

Hot Springs Resort Trip Report: Ojo Caliente
Taos is renowned for world-class skiing and unique pueblo architecture. But I was just as excited about another luxurious feature located a short drive outside town - the natural spring pools at Ojo Caliente Spa and Resort. Pulling up to Ojo Caliente in February 2023, the burgundy rock cliffs rising above you become hazy as the thermal pools steam upward into the fresh air and it feels undeniable you are about to have a magical experience. The resort features multiple soaking pools under a grove of cottonwood trees, as well as a variety of spa amenities that put my in the ultimate stress-free mood.

The Fruit Loop: Eating & Drinking Through the Orchards of Hood River, Oregon
Growing up in Oregon gave me access to so many adventurous activities and one of my most beloved traditions was driving the scenic, affectionately-named "fruit loop" outside of Hood River. Stopping at various farm stands along the road to savor the taste of fresh fruit, pick flowers, sip on juices and interact with friendly goats made a summer or fall day feel like a scene straight out of a movie. After exploring the loop, you can choose to continue your journey to Mount Hood or head back up the Columbia River Gorge towards Portland.

These springs provide the opportunity for rejuvenation and relaxation in a unique, and often upscale, environment. My travels through the West have provided me with the opportunity to stay at different lodges and experience the different cuisine, service and pools that these resorts provide their guests. Each one has its own unique charm and amenities, but they all share one thing in common: they provide an unforgettable way to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
