Travel style
While working in the airline industry, I learned how to pack everything into a weekend and be spontaneous. Traveling with my children and family required detailed planning, organization, and budgeting. I believe in being a traveler and visitor, not a tourist. I aim to explore, learn, and appreciate the culture, history and lifestyle of the places I visit instead of merely checking off tourist attractions and capturing photo opportunities. Although I do love taking photos, as my family will attest, I believe that the true essence of a destination can be experienced by visiting local markets, savoring the cuisine and slowing down to observe the life around you as you travel. When I visit a new country, I like to consider myself a guest in someone's home.
