My travel style
While I love the energy of urban life with all the arts, culture, music and design on offer, I can just as well be found beach-side or discovering quaint foreign towns. Put me in a place surrounded by the sound of a foreign language, and I'm so happy. I've traveled for work and have traveled for fun – on a budget as well as luxury, solo and just to catch my favorite DJ’s gig. Currently, I am enjoying slow travel, which allows me to get to know places and locals in more depth.

Recently returned from:
Hot air ballooning in Cappadocia.
Catching the magical Northern Lights in the Arctic Circle.
Beach-hopping and dancing the night away to cool DJs in Ibiza.
Flying over the amazing fjords of Milford and Doubtful Sounds in New Zealand.
Taking the Trans-Siberian train from St. Petersburg, through Mongolia and ending in Beijing.
Making it to my last continent, Antarctica.
Visiting monasteries and experiencing the cultures of Bhutan and Nepal.
Walking the Great Wall of China.
One thing I can't travel without...
My cocktail shaker.
Two truths, one lie:
I went swimming with sharks in South Africa.
I've decided to take an overseas trip and left for the airport within four hours of it.
I found myself in front of a 20-foot-tall wild elephant in Botswana.
