I had a chance to tour the new Six Senses Rome during opening week. They were still working on some punch list items but for the most part the hotel was up and running. Located between the Piazza Navona and the Trevi Fountain in a former bank building. Calming, modern earth tones throughout the property set the tone for a complete escape from the city outside. The lush interior courtyard and well-landscaped rooftop provide a respite from the streets of Rome. 

Baltimore is a great weekend getaway for culture seekers looking for a day of food, art and history, followed by a great cocktail in the evening. More affordable than many of its east coast counterparts, Baltimore nurtures creative types. The food and art scenes are thriving and the history and architecture will feed your soul.

The Bella Chaos! Naples is beautiful, chaotic, gritty and sublime. Too often just a quick stop for those headed to Capri, Pompeii or the Amalfi, Naples rewards those who come to discover her. The kind of city you dive into and embrace — it's superstitions, passions and heart are laid out for all who are willing to find it. Spend your days in some of Italy's most important museums or just wander the streets in search of street art (there's plenty) and the world's greatest pizza. And don't be surprised if people suddenly break out into song or the red-coated Scio Scio throws salt on you. It's all part of the charm.
