Lemons and ceramics are everywhere, adding to the charm of the Amalfi Coast and Ischia. Despite being in a carb-induced food coma from all the pasta and pizza, it was absolutely worth it. The food is incredible no matter where you go.

Ravello and Ischia were definitely highlights of our trip. Ravello, a small village perched on the cliffs of the Amalfi Coast with stunning views and charming medieval streets, is free from the crowds that flood those areas. It’s far more authentic and quainter. Ischia, on the other hand, is simply one of the most beautiful islands. Fun fact: Ischia is a popular summer destination for many Italians, even though it remains less known to tourists compared to its neighbor Capri. The island is expansive, allowing us to explore its unique neighborhoods and experience their distinct charm.

There's a plethora of places to discover in Portugal, but not many are familiar with the hidden gem of islands just off its coast known as the volcanic Azores. Often compared to Hawai'i for their stunning landscapes of lush greenery, dramatic coastlines and pristine beaches, the Azores offer an ideal escape for nature lovers seeking both peace and excitement. My close friend and I embarked on an adventure to São Miguel, the largest island in the Azores, renowned for its abundant hydrangeas. We immersed ourselves in the island's unique offerings, from exploring tea and pineapple plantations—did you know São Miguel is home to the only pineapple greenhouses in the world and Europe's sole tea plantation? To hiking up to towering peaks for panoramic views and relaxing on sandy shores. Our visit to Furnas, with its active volcano, was a highlight, where we sampled the traditional dish "cozido nas caldeiras," slow-cooked in volcanic heat for seven hours. No part of Greece is more than 137 kilometers away from the ocean! Plus, Greece boasts 18 UNESCO World Heritage Sites and is 80% mountains, but its stunning coastline is always within reach. Greece isn't just a destination; it's a treasure trove of cherished memories and endless adventures. Every part of Greece had its own vibe, but man, Milos (smaller island) totally stole the show for us. Whether we were cruising its shores by boat or ATV, every moment uncovered something new and totally stole our hearts. Seriously, if you're up for it, check out these smaller islands - they've got this vibe that's just unbeatable. So chill, so authentic and seriously peaceful. You won't regret it. Thailand is seriously amazing, filled with some of the happiest people you'll ever meet. Now, I understand why they're renowned for their hospitality, friendliness and, of course, their smiles! My boyfriend and I decided to kick off the New Year with our first trip to Southeast Asia, and let me tell you, it's been on our minds ever since. Lighting up lanterns at Tha Phae Gate at midnight was one of the biggest highlights of our trip. Overall, we had such a blast stepping out of our comfort zones, whether it was getting up close with elephants in Chiang Mai or visiting temples nonstop to learn about the Buddhist culture. Did you know that Thailand is home to more than 35,000 shrines and temples? Buddhism, practiced by over 95% of the population, fills the country with these elaborate structures. Also, one of my favorite things was learning and trying to say Bangkok's official full name – find out for yourself! From wandering busy city streets and chaotic Muay Thai fights (Thailand's national sport) to lounging on the laid-back beaches and getting Thai massages in the south, every moment brought us closer together and left us with unforgettable memories of growth and discovery as a couple. This guide includes some of our favorite spots from Bangkok, Chiang Mai and Koh Samui. I would also suggest spending time in Krabi and Khao Sok National Park as those locations are also unreal.
