My Story
I’m Topher — a travel advisor, former restaurant pro and level two sommelier. After years in the hospitality world, I’ve gotten pretty damn good at figuring out what people actually want — even beyond what they say they want. I like to listen and learn about your life and your style to create a travel plan that fits within your budget (without skimping on joy). My husband and I enjoy trips that feel like you live there, even if it’s just for a weekend — we’re more “where the locals go” than “easy inauthenticity.” That’s the energy I bring to every trip I help plan.
My Travel Style
My travel style chooses immersion over itinerary stuffing to connect meaningfully to the sense of place. I believe in quality, not flash and smart indulgences over reckless splurging. The best experiences come from staying open — to people, to food, to detours, to ways of life outside your own. My approach to planning starts with the home base. Where are we sleeping every night? I look into what’s in the surrounding area that is easy to walk to. I consider any important checklist spots and I account for transportation options. With that knowledge, I determine a budget-friendly home base. It doesn’t have to be the most exclusive — it has to be the best fit.

Topher was exceptional to work with as we planned an impromptu honeymoon to Montréal and we can’t recommend him enough!
After answering some easy and fun questions about what we were aiming for, Topher gave us three wonderful hotel options with all the information we needed to make the best choice. It truly felt like he took the time to get to know us and what we were hoping to get out of the trip. Once we picked our hotel, he went above and beyond to take care of all of the booking details, and ensured that we received exceptional service every step of the way.
It has been such a pleasure working with Topher and Fora, we will recommend him to everyone!

Big thanks to my travel advisor, Topher Pavonine, for making my trip to Burlington, VT effortless and unforgettable. He booked me at a fantastic hotel that couldn’t have been a better fit. Great location, wonderful amenities, and all at a rate that felt very reasonable. It really set the tone for a special trip.
