My Story
Food and wine obsessed. Former pastry chef, current elementary school teacher and mother to three kids. Have never met a winery I didn't enjoy. Southern California-based and teahouse aficionado.
My Travel Style
Luxe adventurer – thread count matters, people! I love a gorgeous pool and spa, and hotels with amenities and great on-site dining. Centrally located to minimize driving and change my perspective/see things like a local for unique experiences. You will usually find me trying the newest restaurant, local cuisine and visiting small business-owned bakeries/cafes. I want to feel rejuvenated after travel – so spas, full glasses of wine, relaxing walks on the beach and casual strolls through town are staples. I personally have three travel "categories" that keep me fulfilled and help me enjoy the people I love the most in my life. First is family trips with my husband and three kids. These trips are for making memories and modeling for my kids how to safely, enjoy travel and see the world. Second is taking solo trips with just my husband and I to keep our connection and marriage strong. We like to getaway no less than every couple of months, even if it's just for a night or two sans kids. Third, is my girls trips with my four favorite ladies. We've been friends for over 20 years. We make the best memories, have tremendous fun and side-splitting laughs. Whatever your travel needs are, I am your girl to help bring your travel dreams to life.

We felt we had a great deal and appreciated her expertise with working with the cruise line since this was a new cruise line for us. She checked in regularly and made us feel comfortable in the process, especially navigating the flights since we do not do that often.

Informative, made everything exciting, and always pleasant...even if I stressed.

Weekend Getaway to Solvang, CA
Solvang is a hidden gem, located 30 minute drive from Santa Barbara, and smack dab in the middle of Los Olivos/ Santa Ynez Wine Country. Solvang means "sunny meadow" in Danish and was relatively unheard of until the movie Sideways put it on the map. This is an adorable town where most of the sights can be seen by walking, bicycle or pedicab. There is a town ordinance that prohibits chain restaurants in the city, so all shops and dining are one-of-a-kind and you know you are supporting a local business. Many restaurants pride themselves in serving farm-to-table cuisine and their seasonal menu changes with the ingredients in season.
