My Travel Style
From the moment I was carried onto a plane at three months old, my journey through the world has been full of adventure. The standout favorites are the enchanting landscapes of Japan, the secluded Indonesian archipelago of Bawah and the vibrant tapestry of South Africa.
Renowned for its unparalleled order and ceremony, we chose the Aman hotels in Tokyo and Kyoto, each offering a uniquely remarkable experience. We savored traditional and Michelin-starred meals at Narisawa, Noma Kyoto and a charming family-owned restaurant that caters to one group per night. I visited historical sites such as the Kokedera Temple, accessible only through mail RSVP, juxtaposed with modern sensations like the iconic Shibuya crossing.
On an East and Southeast Asian expedition, my most remote journey led me to the recovering beauty of Bawah, a nature reserve resort nestled within a six-island archipelago in Indonesia. The voyage there was an adventure, requiring a seaplane ride from Batam, another Indonesian island. During this journey, I had the opportunity to celebrate New Year at The Peninsula, Hong Kong and explore Singapore.
In the untamed majesty of South Africa, I stayed at the Lion Sands Game Reserve in Kruger National Park. Here, the bare wilderness holds surprises of the unknown on safari adventures. I ventured to Cape Town, where I stayed at the contemporary Silo Hotel. A view of Table Mountain greeted me every morning, and a scenic drive through the Seven Sisters Mountains exposed me to the raw, rugged beauty of the landscape.
My journey has taken me through a myriad of experiences. I had the most delicious and experiential meals of my life in Denmark at Geranium and Alchemist, both ranked among the world's top five restaurants and adorned with multiple Michelin stars. From the Villa d'Este and Passalacqua on the classic Lake Como to the opulent Armani Hotel at the Burj Khalifa in Dubai, I am grateful for these extraordinary experiences that have shaped who I am. I hope to share my knowledge and create some unforgettable experiences for you as well. Welcome to my page!
