For me, seeing as much as possible is relaxing. I want to see the sites, take in the culture, eat the food and get off the beaten path. Distances don't intimidate me. I get a thrill out of figuring out how to get from point A to point B, be it planes, trains or automobiles. I've climbed the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, wandered around Britain, France and Scotland with just a backpack and carry-on suitcase, sipped mulled wines at European Christmas markets, and lived in luxury during a once in a lifetime honeymoon in Bali, Tokyo and Hong Kong. Oh, and I'm a details guy who loves making travel itineraries, while my wife's job is to plan our vacation wardrobe!
