My Story
Ten years ago, I solo traveled the world for a year across 12 countries and five continents, and that’s where my lifelong love of travel was born. Today, I write a travel newsletter where I share favorite spots, thoughtfully built itineraries, and the off-script experiences that end up mattering most—the unexpected, grounding moments that quietly reshape how you see the world. I specialize in boutique, off-the-beaten-path travel for people who care as much about where they stay as what they do—focusing on far-flung corners, fewer crowds, and places that still feel like a secret. My trips put local culture front and center and prioritize authentic connection, so you come home feeling more in touch with yourself, your travel companions, and the wider world. Sophie was absolutely incredible in helping us plan our trip to Delhi, India. From the very beginning, she set herself apart by sharing thoughtful initial research and taking time to hop on a call to understand our preferences, priorities, and travel style. She asked about everything from the types of hotels we enjoy to our main goals for the trip, including the need for real rest after a long international flight and ahead of a busy wedding weekend.
One of our biggest concerns was navigating a country we had never visited before, particularly transportation and day-to-day logistics within India. Sophie handled all of this with remarkable care and confidence. Based on our sightseeing wishlist in Delhi, she secured a perfectly located hotel that balanced comfort and service, and then went a step further by coordinating trusted private drivers who doubled as knowledgeable guides while showing us around the city.
What truly elevated the experience was Sophie’s attention to detail and constant communication. She was clearly in close touch with the hotel, which made everything seamless, including arranging the delivery of a wedding outfit to our room. We were greeted with a personal welcome note from her when we arrived, a small but incredibly thoughtful touch. Throughout the trip, she checked in regularly to ensure everything was running smoothly, and her responsiveness was always quick and reassuring.
You can genuinely feel how much Sophie cares about her travelers and the experiences she creates.
