Our Story
Ten years ago, I solo traveled the world for a year across 12 countries and five continents, and that’s where my lifelong love of travel was born. Today, I write a travel newsletter where I share favorite spots, thoughtfully built itineraries, and the off-script experiences that end up mattering most. I specialize in boutique, off-the-beaten-path travel for people who care as much about where they stay as what they do—focusing on far-flung corners, fewer crowds, and places that still feel like a secret. My trips put local culture front and center and prioritize authentic connection, so you come home feeling more in touch with yourself, your travel companions, and the wider world. With a background in strategy consulting and hospitality, I bring a high-touch approach to every journey, equal parts design-minded and detail-obsessed—with a knack for uncovering true hidden gems, so you don’t have to.

This is a place i never would have found on my own. It is so different from my other Berkshire stays in B & B's and boutique hotels. It's a unique property that allows a home base to explore the northern Berkshires. Great find, Sophie!

Sophie could not have been better!!!! She planned an absolutely perfect trip with 2 nights in Lisbon and 4 nights in Comporta. From coordinating with hotels to scheduling surf lessons to organizing cars, every detail was perfect. Sophie even sent us texts in the morning with information about the day and checked in throughout our stay. Truly could not recommend her enough and wish there was an option to give her more stars. Thank you Sophie!!!!

Sophie was so helpful with our trip. We couldn’t have pulled it off without her! Her communication was clear and timely. I loved all her recommendations- especially with the Lisbon hotel, which we would have never selected in our own but was such a great stay. She made planning the trip easy and stress free! Working with Sophie was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. Planning a multi-generational group trip with many different personality types and interests is no small feat, but Sophie handled it with grace and incredible patience.
Having traveled to the Sicily herself, she brought invaluable personal insight to the table. She curated a brilliant mix of excursions and unique, special experiences that genuinely appealed to everyone in our group, allowing for together time and must needed relaxation time.
Her communication and attentiveness were top-tier throughout the entire planning process. More importantly, when we hit a real-time booking issue during the trip, Sophie stepped in immediately. She jumped on the phone when we needed her and clarified for a quick solution.
We cannot recommend Sophie highly enough in fact, we’ve already started passing her name along to other friends and family. If you want a seamless, personalized, and stress-free travel experience, she is the absolute best!
