My Story
I've been to five continents, 26 countries and 36 US states — loving every minute, mile and person I’ve met along the way! Travel is the best way to get to know yourself, strangers and/or any of your travel companions.
Travel Style
I’ve journeyed across five continents, exploring 26 diverse countries and 36 states within the US — sometimes on a budget and sometimes on a splurge! Along the way, I’ve met hundreds of fascinating people from all walks of life and different cultures, forging lasting friendships and connections. My appreciation for solo travel is rooted in learning about the best of all cultures and finding ways to incorporate it into my life back home in D.C. Most importantly, it’s provided me the ability to spend time with myself, offering me profound insights into myself, my place in the world, fostering personal growth and a deeper appreciation for the beauty of diversity. When not traveling solo, I travel with friends and family for short getaways, family vacations or friend adventures for several weeks at a time. No matter the trip you’re looking to plan, I can support you in envisioning a trip that meets your goals!

Silvia has been an incredible travel advisor. She made my trip to San Juan with 12 of my best friends to celebrate my 50th birthday an incredible experience. She was communicative, timely, and everything she recommended turned out to be 5-Star. Could not ask for a better travel advisor- thank you!!!

Silvia is amazing! Her coordination, communication and ability to organize a complicated itinerary for 13 people was outstanding. Siliva took care of hotels, restaurant reservations, small flights, rental cars, private chefs and a kayak tour -- a large task for 13 people! 5 stars!

Silvia is an absolute savant when it comes to group travel! She planned every detail of our friend's 50th birthday trip to Vieques, Puerto Rico which involved getting 13 people from all over the country to that tiny island without even the hint of a hiccup! She handled all flights to San Juan, our overnight stay at The Condado Plaza before our small plane flight to Vieques, where we had the most amazing 4 nights at a gorgeous house, catered meals, a fleet of rental cars, scuba excursion and a bioluminescence kayak tour...with suggestions for meals out, where to shop for groceries, what beaches to go to for great snorkeling and everything you can imagine. I really didn't know what one woman with a passion for travel and a spreadsheet could do, but she made magic for us. We're truly grateful as this once-in-a-lifetime trip would not have been possible without her!

Silvia helped us find a fantastic property for a trip to NYC to see a few shows. The location and property was perfect and I appreciated Silvia's thoughtfulness given to our booking.

Silvia made booking a breeze, and even reminded me about my cancellation window before it closed!

Under-the-Radar in Rome: A Chic & Artsy Boutique Stay
During my mid-January 2025 site visit to Hotel Chapter Roma, the first stop on my solo two-week European tour. I was welcomed with a level of warmth and style fit for royalty. From the moment I stepped inside, the beautifully exposed brick doorway, arches and perfect lighting in the lobby called me casually transported me to a modern-day Roman lounge where history and luxury intertwined seamlessly. The chic vibes, exposed 18th-century brick and proximity to the most essential things in Rome you want to see make it a perfect spot for your visit to Rome. I’d recommend it to anyone — I'll definitely stay here again next time I swing through!

Sun, Sand and Serenity: Our Holiday Escape to the Dominican Republic at Hilton La Romana All-Inclusive
I took a family trip to the Dominican Republic in December 2024. Let’s be honest — holidays with family can sometimes feel like a reality TV show waiting to happen. You’re trapped in someone’s living room, dodging awkward conversations, or playing family mediator during tense moments. To sidestep the chaos, my family and I decided to escape to the DR and find some holiday harmony. We struck gold by timing our trip between Thanksgiving and Christmas — peak relaxation season without the peak crowds and prices. Before settling in at the Hilton La Romana All-Inclusive, we spent a night in Punta Cana to shake off the travel fatigue. We made a quick stop in Santo Domingo for a day of soaking up history and visiting Cuevas de Maravilla outside the city.
