I love to over-research so I know what's available, but then leave lots of room for spontaneity and local finds. An ideal travel day for me is a good coffee followed by a unique adventure, hike or road trip to a great photographic location. Followed by a good dinner at a high-rated local restaurant and then back to a gorgeous hotel, dipping in the hot tub while my kids hang in the pool then off to bed for a repeat the next day.
