My Story

Travel has been a constant throughout my life, and I’ve experienced it in just about every way imaginable. I’ve traveled extensively across Europe, Scandinavia, and North America, visiting 40 countries and every US state. My husband and I have traveled just the two of us, with our children when they were young, later as couples as they grew and married, and now with our grandchildren. Sharing travel across generations has been one of the most meaningful parts of our journey. For us, the goal has always been simple: keep going, keep learning, and keep seeing what the world has to offer.

Travel Style

My travel style is flexible, curious, and grounded in real life. I don’t believe there’s one “right” way to travel. I’ve planned trips on strict budgets and stayed in luxury hotels, maximized hotel perks to stretch travel dollars, relied on public transit and long road trips, and also hired private drivers and personal guides.

I’ve joined free walking tours and, at other times, splurged on once-in-a-lifetime experiences that mattered deeply in that moment. To me, the best trips reflect personal priorities—what feels right for you at that time in your life.

I value experiences that feel meaningful rather than what’s expected of a destination. Whether that means walking a city end to end, spending hours in museums or historic neighborhoods, attending concerts, or stopping at as many cafés as possible while living on coffee and pastries, simply being present in a new place is what fills me up—regardless of budget.

I’d highly recommend working with Sherri as a travel advisor. She was extremely detailed and attentive throughout the entire process. I told her we were interested in going to a beach somewhere in North or South Carolina, and she provided multiple great options, all clearly explained and tailored to what we were looking for.

Anytime I had a question, she was quick to respond and always helpful. The whole experience was smooth and stress-free thanks to her. I’ll definitely be using her again in the future!
