Some people stumble into their calling. Me? I think mine found me.

I’m Shawn-Marie—mom, grandmother, travel lover, and the person who genuinely cannot think of anything better than helping someone experience the trip of their lifetime.

I have two grown sons who I am endlessly proud of, and three grandchildren who have completely stolen my heart. Some of my favorite memories in this world have been made while traveling with them—watching little eyes go wide at something they’ve never seen before, sharing meals in places we’d never been, and laughing until our sides hurt somewhere far from home. There is nothing quite like it. Nothing.

But travel isn’t just a family affair for me. I’m equally at home planning a girls trip with my girlfriends—the kind where nobody has a schedule and everybody has a story to tell by the end. And solo travel? Don’t even get me started. There is something incredibly powerful about going somewhere on your own terms, at your own pace, with nothing but curiosity and a good itinerary to guide you.
