He guided us through adding Belfast, Sligo, and parts of Donegal, ultimately allowing us to experience the full breadth of Ireland in a way that felt natural and beautifully connected. He also incorporated a visit to the Lady of Knock, which was deeply important to my mother-in-law, making that moment especially meaningful for our family.

From there, we continued through Belfast, the Giant’s Causeway, and the Dark Hedges before returning to Dublin, each stop feeling like a carefully crafted chapter in an unforgettable story.

One of the most meaningful threads woven throughout our journey was Shannon’s thoughtful attention to my late father’s Irish heritage. She researched and incorporated the O’Brien family history into our trip in such a personal way. Because of her care, we were able to visit multiple O’Brien castles and connect with that part of our ancestry in a way that felt deeply emotional and unforgettable. That layer of meaning made the entire journey even more powerful for our family.

Shannon also curated an incredible mix of iconic experiences and hidden gems. We experienced the famous highlights like the Guinness Storehouse and St. Patrick’s Cathedral, but also unforgettable adventures that felt uniquely ours: a breathtaking bike ride on the Aran Islands, a boat tour along the dramatic cliffs of Dingle, a jaunting car ride through Killarney National Park with stunning views of Ross Castle, and golfing at the legendary Dromoland Castle.

One of the most incredible contributions Cieran made was helping bring together the most emotional moments of our trip. While Shannon thoughtfully researched churches across Ireland, it was Cieran who helped finalize the details for our vow renewal on the Cliffs of Moher and secured the Church in Galway at the very last moment for our marriage blessing. The priest delivered a powerful blessing in front of the entire church and visiting guests, making it one of the most moving experiences of our lives.
