Scott is gifted with a special talent for uncovering hidden gems. After attending a friend’s wedding in Tuscany, we planned our summer holiday with Scott—and it turned out to be a fantastic decision. Our stay in Reggio Emilia at Relais Roncolo 1888 was truly memorable. The hotel was a perfect choice, offering both charm and convenience. We enriched our trip with a Parmigiano Reggiano factory tour, a Parma ham tour, and a delightful tasting experience at the hotel. where we sampled local wines, their own wine, balsamic vinegar, and olive oil—each one adding flavor and depth to our holiday. After the cheese and ham tours, we enjoyed a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, savoring regional specialties like tagliatelle and porcini mushroom risotto, perfectly paired with local wines. All activities were made even more enjoyable thanks to the comfortable and spacious van with a dedicated driver, which allowed us to travel effortlessly and relax between destinations. The on-site restaurant was another highlight, with its stunning panoramic views. We enjoyed relaxing dinners paired with local wines and their own wine, soaking in the serene atmosphere. Relais Roncolo 1888 had everything we needed in one place: Cozy, boutique-style rooms; a restaurant with breathtaking views; a beautiful outdoor pool; indoor and outdoor lounges full of charm; and a gift shop. It was incredibly convenient to have all our activities and relaxation in one location. The staff were warm and welcoming, making our stay even more enjoyable. If you're looking for a peaceful yet enriching escape in the heart of Emilia-Romagna, Relais Roncolo 1888 is a hidden treasure worth discovering. We’re already planning our next adventure with Scott—and we’re more than ready to be surprised all over again.
