Scott was a great travel advisor. It was the first time my husband and I used a travel advisor to plan a trip as we really wanted to make sure our honeymoon was special. Scott was wonderful to work with, always listening to our feedback to make sure we had the perfect itinerary that fit our interests and budget. It was truly an unforgettable trip! Thank you so much, Scott!

In a word: outstanding. Scott DuBois was probably one of the best travel advisors I’ve ever worked with. He took the time to really understand what we were looking for, spent an hour on a call just helping us shape our dream itinerary, and gave us multiple options to choose from. Even after we’d booked, he shared his personal experiences from staying at the same camp, and he was always there to answer questions during the trip.
I’d easily give my booking experience with Scott a perfect rating. He went above and beyond, and I can’t wait to plan another safari with him.

Scott was soooo helpful and so responsive. I absolutely would work with Scott again. I am going to recommend him to all of my friends and my family. He was super thorough, provided the real pros and cons of every place/itinerary, was super mindful of our budget, helped us with little things like visa requirements, packing list, vaccines we might need, cultural/tipping norms, and more. He also got back to us very quickly.

Love working with Scott! Proactive....knowledgeable...organized......service-oriented....fabulous listener...and great follow-up! He has the innate skill to make well thought out objective relevant recommendations without being too forceful or "sales-y!" We highly recommend Scott to anyone.

Picking the Perfect African Safari
When booking your first African safari, legendary names like Serengeti and Kruger often come to mind — and these are both incredible destinations. However, Africa is a massive place and I don't subscribe to the idea of a starter safari. There are a plethora of choices on where to go based on your budget and other interests, so I created this destination guide as a starting point to help you find the safari that best fits your travel style.

Just Back from Zambia with Time + Tide
In November 2024, I took an unforgettable safari with Time + Tide through South Luangwa and Lower Zambezi National Parks. Zambia often flies under the radar compared to its neighbors, but the country is safe and welcoming and will appeal to safari-goers looking for a real adventure. The walking safari was born here, so it is easy to take extended walks through the wilderness and visitors can also enjoy canoe or boat safaris on the Zambezi River. It's an immersive experience in nature unlike any other.

Off the Beaten Path Tanzanian Safari
Tanzania’s famous “Northern Safari Circuit” of Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, and Tarangire National Parks attracts hundreds of thousands of travelers annually. For those seeking an authentic safari experience away from the crowds, I highly recommend southern Tanzania. This itinerary explores the vast landscapes of Ruaha and Katavi National Parks and includes chimpanzee trekking before finishing on the sublime beaches of Pemba Island.

Botswana Luxury Adventure Safari
The Kalahari Desert covers most of Botswana, but the country is famous for the Okavango Delta, a vast inland oasis for the multitudes of wildlife that live here. My itinerary embraces both facets of the Botswanan landscape. Begin your adventure in a charming tent on the barren Makgadikgadi Salt Pan, then transition to the Delta for a land- and water-based safari. Finish your trip with impressive herds of elephants at a luxurious camp in the Selinda Private Reserve near Chobe National Park. This itinerary is the ultimate luxury adventure for wildlife enthusiasts.
