My Story
As the daughter of a pilot, travel has always been in my DNA. At 24, I set off on my first solo adventure through New Zealand, Australia, Singapore, Indonesia, Hong Kong, and Japan, a journey that forever changed the way I experience the world. Since then, solo travel has taken me to 29 countries, from a European summer across England, Portugal, and France to a life-changing safari in South Africa where I met my partner and now spend half the year living in Cape Town.
Today, I lead yoga-safari retreats through Kismet Collection and work as a marriage and family therapist. I believe travel is one of the most powerful ways to connect with yourself, with others, and with the natural world. If there is one thing I will always encourage, it is taking that solo trip because you never know where, or who it might lead you to.
Travel Style
My travel style is rooted in great hospitality and staying somewhere that feels like home the moment you walk in. I am drawn to boutique hotels, unique stays, and walkable neighborhoods that make it easy to slip into the rhythm of a place. I love experiences that feel one of a kind, whether that is a hidden gem hotel, a local café, or a neighborhood you almost do not want to leave.
While I appreciate luxury travel, I also love finding great deals and making the most of value without sacrificing experience. I am also the queen of the side quest. I will happily turn a layover into a mini adventure, like recently choosing a 10.5 hour stop in Istanbul just to explore another country and add a new stamp to my passport.
