My Story
As a West-Coast native, Sarah has a lifelong love of both the ocean and the mountains. Her travel obsession began after studying in Italy, and evolved through her career in retail real estate (it was literally her job to track down the best stores and restaurants worldwide) and passion for snow and water sports. Her eye for inspired dining, merchants and hotels brought clients and friends repeatedly asking for recommendations. With incredible attention to detail and an innate ability to streamline logistics, the recommendations evolved into full vacation and retreat planning.
My Travel Style
Whether it's snowboarding in Japan, recharging in Sedona or kitesurfing in the Caribbean, she identifies your core intention for the trip and fine tunes the details to allow for the perfect balance of unique experiences and relaxation. She will always guide you to the best restaurants, shopping and secret beaches. As a mother of two, she's mastered the art of tailoring both adventure and luxury travel with little ones in tow.

Sarah was exceptional! She was so quick to engage with our booking inquiries, and provided detailed care and information every step of the way. We absolutely felt the effect of her hand in our reservation through the full length of our stay. The hotel was gracious and prompt with providing the complimentary upgrade based on availability, and there were special touches delivered to our room that really impressed; a birthday cake, balloons, and handwritten notes. It's hard to imagine we would've had as good an experience at the Montage had it not been arranged by Sarah. Can't wait to work with her and Fora again!

Sarah was fabulous to work with! She had to deal with my indecisiveness and multiple questions! She was patient and helpful and made sure I was happy with what I chose. And at the hotel, she went the extra effort to make our stay special for our anniversary!

Sarah made sure we were well prepared for our trip and that every need (dietary and otherwise were met!) We would not have had the experience we did without Sarah! Thank you Sarah!

Winter in Sedona - Enchantment & Mii Amo
I just returned from the most magical trip to Sedona. Winter visits are just underrated in my opinion. The weather was crisp but sunny most of the time and then we woke up to snow, which was absolutely stunning on the rock formations and so lovely to hike/walk in. Besides excellent hotel rates, I would emphasize to guests how thin/non-existent the crowds are this time of year. The hikes are far more enjoyable without the droves of tourists.

Storybook Vacation in Bali, Indonesia
Amongst all my travels, Bali still remains one of my favorite places on Earth. Feel truly transported as Bali provides a unique trifecta of beautiful cultural immersion, awe-inspiring design resorts and countless idyllic beaches with world class surf breaks. The locals are incredibly welcoming and pride in their beautiful Hindu rituals and ideals is present in everything they do. From the cliffs of Uluwatu to the jungles of Ubud, the indelible experiences to be had are countless. I typically recommend at least 3 days in each region or town you visit, working your way from south to north or east to west. If you are an avid surfer, the lineup at Ulu is not for the faint of heart, but Impossibles, Padang Padang and many others deliver phenomenal sets as well with calmer competition.

Girls Weekend Getaway to Calistoga Wine Country
Napa Valley has so much to offer with both exquisite food and wine experiences. I designed this itinerary focused almost entirely in Calistoga to maximize your time in the valley so you can spend more time sipping, noshing and soaking up the spa! Living not far from the valley, I've skipped over the corporate giants that most tour companies will take you to. A note on cost and crowds — don't be afraid to go in the "off season." One of the best kept secrets of the area is that January and February visits can be just as enchanting as harvest, with less crowds and lower room rates. As with most aspects of travel, wine tasting has changed somewhat post pandemic. Appointments are required almost everywhere and party sizes are sometimes limited to 6 or less. The properties herein all have outdoor or private options for seating.

5-Day Kiteboarding Adventure in La Ventana, Mexico
So often I'm asked, "What is the best way to learn to kiteboard? Do I need lessons?". And my answer is pretty much always: "Go to La Ventana for a week!" This sweet little town where the desert meets the Sea of Cortez is full of character, wildlife and wind sports experts. Whether you want to learn to kiteboard, wing foil or windsurf, La Ventana is the place. With consistent wind all winter and a beginner-friendly L-shaped beach downwind, this is the setup for success. It was quite rustic when I started kiting 12 years ago, but it's grown significantly, now offering boutique hotels and delicious beachfront restaurants. If you are on the East Coast, or otherwise out of reach for Baja, please reach out as I have other ideas for you!
