My Story
I’m a Pro travel advisor bringing a global perspective shaped by years of living overseas and exploring the world with my own family. Travel has always been a central part of my life, and turning that passion into a profession was a natural next step. I specialize in crafting custom itineraries tailored to each traveler’s unique style—whether it’s a once-in-a-lifetime adventure, a family getaway, or a luxury escape. Wherever you’re headed, I’ll help you get there in a way that’s seamless, inspiring, and unforgettable.
My Travel Style
A perfect vacation day, for me, strikes the ideal balance—some city energy, a touch of nature, and something special in between. I love starting the day with a bit of adventure, maybe a scenic hike framed by breathtaking views or a cultural wander through winding streets. But no matter where I am, the day ends in true style: a glass of fine wine in hand, watching the sunset from the balcony of a beautiful luxury hotel, soaking in the moment—and the view.

Our booking experience with Sara Jeanne exceeded all expectation. We were looking to book a trip to the Caribbean in July with our two kids (ages 7, 4). Sara Jeanne gave us a bunch of different options (islands, resorts), and we chose the Four Seasons in Anguilla, where we visited the year prior. She was able to reserve a two queen ocean room, even though it was not available on the website. Sara Jeanne reached out multiple times leading up to the trip to see if there was anything we needed for the trip, including helping us book a Moke. When we arrived at the resort, we were upgraded to an enormous, amazing two bedroom residence, which happened to be right next to the family pool, where we spent a lot of our time. When we entered the room, we had a note from Sara Jeanne, a welcome bottle of wine, and desserts for the kids. It was a great experience. We already booked a second trip with Sara Jeanne to Chicago next month. Can't wait to cross off the other destinations that Sara Jeanne recommended in the future.

She was forthright in telling us all of the pros and cons regarding the property and the room. Sara was easy to contact and seemed always available. She has a sweet temperament that is much appreciated. She also seemed very knowledgeable about the Washington scene and its hospitality issues.

Sara Jeanne was a pleasure to work with and did a fantastic job helping us find our perfect vacation spot. She was resourceful and responsive as we went back and forth on our priorities for our trip and she helped manage the whole process from beginning to end seamlessly. We will absolutely be using her for future trips. She was a delight to partner with.

Tour du Mont Blanc: 10 Days of Glaciers, Peaks, Pasta & Crocs
The Tour du Mont Blanc is one of the world’s greatest hikes. It covers approximately 100 miles, and although there are many different ways to break it up, most people attempt to tackle the TMB in 10 days. When I began to plan a small group TMB trip, I knew that staying in mountain huts, dormitory style, was not what we wanted. Instead, we booked a deluxe self-guided trip with a company that specializes in European hiking trips and has been doing it quite well for many years. The trip ended up being fantastic—sore bodies, strenuous climbs, and epic views. The deluxe part was the icing on the cake—European-style spas where we could soak our aching legs at the end of the day, followed by delicious three-course meals paired with excellent French wines.

Holiday Stay at the Virgin Hotel in New York City
In December 2023, my teenage daughter and I took a last-minute trip to New York City to take in all of the holiday sights. We invited her best friend and the friend's mother to come along. Taking into consideration their budget and the location we wanted, we decided to try the seven-month-old Virgin Hotel in the Nomad district. From the moment we pulled up to valet our car to the moment we checked out two days later, we were treated warmly and efficiently by a personable, youthful staff. I would definitely recommend the Virgin Hotel.

Cathedrals, gardens & Futbol: A Whirlwind London, Barcelona and Costa Brava Girls' trip
I traveled with my sister and my daughter, Eliza, to London and Barcelona at the tail-end of March 2024. I hadn't been to London in several years, and I was eager to revisit this vibrant city, and to also experience some hotels I had my eye on. Barcelona was a launching point for a road trip to Costa Brava, and the medieval city of Girona, with its ancient Roman walls and preserved Jewish Quarter. Over the course of nine days, we stayed in five different hotels, each completely unique and equally wonderful in their own way.

Food, adventure and nature off the coast of Seattle: Orcas Island
Orcas Island - The moment you drive off the ferry onto this Pacific Northwest getaway in the San Juan Islands, you can feel your whole being relax. You are surrounded by the most magnificent views everywhere you look. There is water all around of course, but there is also Moran State Park with its winding roads leading to the high peak of Mount Constitution. At the center of Orcas is the lovely town of Eastsound with its delightful cafes and shops. There are the different fingers of the island, each adding its own flavor to the local culture. You can completely unwind and relax here simply soaking up the view from a steamy hot tub, or you can go all out with adventure, or ideally you will do a bit of both!
