My Story
I am a teacher, travel enthusiast and adrenaline junkie who spends all his free time planning his next adventure. My base is Washington, D.C., but I live through the stamps in my passport.
My Travel Style
I like to customize every trip so that you can maximize the cultural experiences and fun-factors of every moment. You only live once, so why should you travel a long distance only to stay at the hotel all day, or on the beach? What is an experience you can have that will create a memory that will last a lifetime?

Off-the-Beaten-Path in Sofia, Bulgaria
The eastern European country of Bulgaria is a hidden gem located between the Balkans and the Black Sea. It’s a great off-the-beaten-path destination where you can easily avoid the mainstream tourist crowds. The capital city of Sofia is centrally located, and it’s a great base for your trip to Bulgaria. A small country, you're never more than two hours from all of these places that have historical, cultural and natural beauty. You’ll be able to take trains, buses or rent cars to drive to nearby sites from Sofia. Coming back to Sofia each night is a blast as there are loads of great dining and nightlife establishments.

Cultural Immersion in Guatemala
Guatemala is rich with history and culture and isn’t overrun with tourists like other Latin American countries. Tikal is one of the best-maintained Mayan archaeological sites, and Lake Atitlán is the only place in Central America that I feel is reminiscent of an Italian lake district like Lake Como or Lake Maggiore. Guatemala packs a lot in such a small country when it comes to natural beauty.

One Week in Japan
Japan is so unique – even within other destinations on the Asian continent, there’s just no place quite like it. They have such unique fashion, media and entertainment. The history is fascinating and complex, as Japan is an island and was historically quite an isolated country. Modern Japan is a mixture of old and new and ignites all of your senses in every single way.
