Over three decades in travel and I still haven't run out of places to explore.
PHL for domestic. EWR for international.
My travel style
I started out as a travel nomad but quickly discovered the value of nicer accommodations and stress-free group travel. I'm an advocate of slowing down and soaking in a place instead of checking boxes.
The Oberoi New Delhi
The best hotel in Delhi; an incomparable venue for business or pleasure, The Oberoi, New Delhi, enjoys views of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Humayun’s Tomb on one side and a calming view of the forested golf course on the other.
Complimentary lunch or dinner for two.
Upgrade & extended check-in/out whenever possible.
Modern property in the heart of Athens with fashionable rooms and suites offering views of the Acropolis.
Venezia Palazzo Barocci
Upscale property in a former palace from the 1890s with elegant rooms and suites offering views of the Grand Canal.
Recently returned from:
Exploring Alaska via a small ship.
Getting completely blown away in Egypt.
Wandering around Lugano.
Walking the streets of Athens.
Iceland in the winter.
Southern India for a more in-depth experience.
South Africa or return to East Africa with a stop in Rwanda to see the gorillas.
Sedona, Arizona for some R&R.
One thing I can't travel without...
Two truths, one lie:
I survived an avalanche in Antarctica.
We lost my mother-in-law in Rome for over eight hours.
I bungee-jumped off Verzasca Dam in Ticino, Switzerland.
