- Off-the-Beaten Path
An LA-based creative wanderer inspired by art and culture. I love a good mix of exclusive and off-the-beaten-path, but mainly motivated by good food and great company.
LAX, MNL and everywhere in between.
My travel style
A part-time nomad who enjoys anything from hostels while solo-traveling to luxe digs with my family. I love exploring underrated and up-and-coming locations – Matera, Marsa Alam and Panglao, among others – but, you know, Paris is always a good idea! My idea of a great trip involves a peek into a city's art and culture, lots of great food and – honestly and unapologetically – lots of R&R. Those and finding the best activities to build core memories with loved ones.
Luxury property overlooking the sea and surrounding volcano with breezy rooms and suites.
Sofitel Legend Old Cataract Aswan
Set in what was once a 19th-century Victorian palace, this opulent hotel features several restaurants and bars on the banks of the Nile.
Complimentary roundtrip private airport transfers.
Upgrade & extended check-in/out whenever possible.
Conrad Hotel Manila
Upmarket hotel nearby Manila Bay and attached to a retail space with luxe rooms and suites.
Recently returned from:
Freediving in Panglao, Philippines.
Waking up late for afternoon tea before singing my heart out at karaoke in London.
Swimming with the resident seacow in Abu Dabbab, Egypt.
Getting my 10,000 steps in at the Belvedere then heading to Musikverein for a night with the Vienna Symphony Orchestra.
AlUla in Saudi Arabia.
Singapore for the luxe city life and all the great food.
The white sand dunes and clear lagoon waters of Northeastern Maranhão, Brazil.
Swimming with Humpback Whales in Moorea, French Polynesia.
One thing I can't travel without...
A portable luggage weight scale.
Two truths, one lie:
I've slept inside an airport for four nights straight.
I speak four different languages.
I once sprained an ankle while visiting an ancient Egyptian temple.
