About
Passionate about helping people take a break from their routines through travel! While I'm currently in Buffalo with my partner and our cats, I've lived in Ohio, the Bay Area and even briefly Paris.
Travel style
I recommend and plan trips that have enough structure to make sure you don't miss any "must-do's" but also allow the flexibility to explore the recommendations you get (or places you find) once there.

Rachel's reviews
Our recent trip to Puerto Rico was the third trip that Rachel Sharpnack from FORA has arranged for us. The trip was amazing. Based on her knowledge of our preferences, she suggested lodging and activities that we might enjoy. We like that she gives us multiple choices for each stay, giving us a range of price and amenity options. She is not wedded to her first suggestions, and if the 2-4 choices she suggests don’t meet our needs, she listens to us and works to find something more fitting. For several nights during this trip, we agreed to a beach resort in San Juan that was in the higher end of our price range. Rachel was able to get us an upgraded room, breakfast for two that was worth more than $50 when booked separately, and $100 credit toward food that we took advantage of. During the trip, Rachel communicates with us before every change of lodging, reminding us of what we booked, of upgrades that might be extended to us, any specifics regarding check-in and location, etc. Near the end of our trip, we booked a small Inn on Vieques Island off the coast of Puerto Rico. Rachel provided us information about our stay that she could only have known by having talked personally to the owners prior to the booking. When we arrived, the owners made it a point to let us know that Rachel was the best travel agent they had worked with. We were treated very well during that stay! We look forward to future trips arrange by Rachel.

Booking with Shared Memories Travel was such a positive experience!! Rachel took my budget into account and found the best hotel I’ve stayed in in a long time! I got a $100 credit to use at the hotel and breakfast was included so I didn’t have to pay extra for any meals while I was in Toronto because of this! She helped me figure out transportation driving from Buffalo, found a free parking lot by the train station and I just took the train into Toronto. It was perfect!! I highly recommend Shared Memories and will continue to utilize them for my future trips!
