Rachel was available for calls for all my inquiries. Email & phone were our main conversation points. We really appreciate the assistance with verifying the Chinese transit visa process. This really helped streamline our travel process and ensure feasibility. Hotels aside, we loved the majority of the tours. The only tour we had problems with was the Forbidden City, Art district, & Tienamin square tour in Beijing. We not only didn't get to visit the square but the art district was more of a shopping area than something that required a tour. We then paid an additional $200 or so to go to the Temple of Heaven, considering we didn't go to the square the price seemed a bit high. I would not recommend this tour company in the future. We absolutely LOVED all the tours in Shanghai and really liked the tour of the Great Wall. In fact for the Great Wall tour because of weather we didn't spend as long on the wall so our tour guided added a couple of stops at no additional cost: jade & tea store. Her attention to detail of our interests really impressed us and made for a great start to the trip. I would 100% recommend this tour and specifically our guide Lingling!! There was a timing communication with our food tour guide in Shanghai but that didn't seem to be a big thing. It sounded like the phone number in their system didn't have the proper country code. We had more than enough information to navigate the area and handle monitoring changes due to ongoing weather.

Rachel is an amazing travel advisor. From start to finish her communication was timely and detailed. As someone who is not particularly skilled at planning and organization, Rachel adapted to our particular needs and adjusted plans, provided recommendations that were practical and made sense for our family trip. She incorporated different options on days where we had some free hours. Everything was explained to a T so there was no wondering or guessing what to expect during the trip. Rachel was the key to us having a smooth and unforgettable trip. She puts in a lot of work to make sure your trip is personalized to your interests and travel style, and her knowledge of Japan helped us tremendously. My favorite part of working with her was the emails she sent the day before a new location with all the info we would need like check in, trains, and tour info. It was all in her online itinerary anyway but it was nice to have an email to summarize it. She walked us through what to expect with airport and train station arrivals since we had no clue what to expect with it being our first international trip. Our trip could not have gone any easier. 10/10, I would choose Rachel again and again.
