My Story
I grew up thinking vacation meant Cedar Point and Kings Island. One Disney trip in third grade—and that was it. Even then, I knew I was missing something.
As soon as I hit adulthood, I traveled every chance I got—Europe in my 20s, hostels, big cities, and road trips across the US. Travel became how I learned, explored, and felt most alive.
I married an equally insatiable traveler, and together we’ve explored Hawai’i, Italy, Colorado ski trips, and Vegas adventures. Kids changed how we traveled—but not why.
Now that they’re older, travel is part of our family culture. We take two to three big trips a year, love luxury cruising (Norwegian’s Haven is a favorite), and unwind at resorts in Mexico and the Dominican Republic. My husband and I also travel for scuba diving—Bonaire and Saint Lucia—and recently took our family on a week-long adventure through Ireland.
Time with our kids at home is finite. We choose to fill it with meaningful travel, new cultures, and unforgettable experiences. I have an insatiable curiosity. Travel is how I honor it—and now, how I help others do the same.
Travel Style
Thoughtful, elevated, and experience-driven with a balance of relaxation.
I love travel that feels easy but intentional—where the logistics are handled, the details matter, and there’s space to enjoy the experience. I gravitate toward luxury cruises (especially ship-within-a-ship experiences like Norwegian’s Haven), well-chosen resorts, and immersive international trips that balance comfort with discovery.
I’m a family-savvy traveler who knows the difference between a trip and a vacation—and plans for the vacation. I value properties and itineraries that work beautifully for adults and kids, without sacrificing quality, rest, or experience.
I’m also drawn to purposeful travel: scuba diving destinations, culturally rich itineraries, and places that invite learning, curiosity, and connection. Whether it’s Ireland with my kids, Alaska, the Caribbean, a pickleball retreat, or a luxury cruise with built-in ease, I plan travel that feels meaningful—not rushed.

Booking through Rachel saved me a lot of time doing research. I told her what type of place I was looking for and the approximate location. She found a place with so many things to walk to! There were a ton of really good restaurants and shopping! The area also felt very safe. I’ll definitely use her again to book trips! A very pleasant experience!
