Our Story
I design meaningful travel, whether that means connecting with nature, your travel buddies, local culture, or the tropical drink in your hand on a white sandy beach. :)
Whether you know exactly where you're going or have no idea, I listen, I strategize, and I help you get there.
I've been fortunate to travel a lot. My first flight was at 6 weeks old! As a kid, I used to love our road trips, playing travel bingo, the alphabet game, and trying to get truck drivers to toot their horns.
As a teen, a trip to Europe and Israel with my grandmother was a great start to my overseas travel.
After that, my travel wanderlust only grew stronger.
As a young adult, I found every chance I could to travel. I loved the feeling of exploring, learning, growing, and connecting from my semester abroad in Spain, a summer volunteering in Israel, and several months of learning and volunteering in Costa Rica.
My dream has always been to help people experience the joy and meaning in travel.
Now, I have many different roles. In addition to being a mom of 18 and 20-year-olds, I'm a wife, dog and cat mom, travel writer, educator, marketing consultant, and your trusty travel advisor.
I used to think of all of those as distinct hats I wore, but now I see they are all about showing people (except for the animals part) something they couldn't quite understand or see before. I love helping people (and animals) connect, find meaning, grow, learn, and deepen their perspectives.
I've planned road trips across and through Texas, city-hopping trips through Western Europe before smartphones existed (how did we do that?), last-minute college visits with just a personal item as luggage (I can also give packing tips), couples trips to Costa Rica, a week in Thailand, trips around select baseball tournaments and professional sports games, multigenerational family trips, and a five-star Dominican Republic resort entirely paid for with credit card points. I've joined press trips as a travel journalist and planned girls' getaways that were more meaningful than anyone expected.
Some of my most memorable trips were built around moments, not just destinations. After finishing breast cancer treatment, we took a family trip (with a 3- and 5-year-old) to Hawai'i, using points from my medical bills.
When my aunt completed her cancer treatment, we celebrated with an Alaskan cruise.
Milestones and accomplishments deserve to be celebrated: finishing treatment, graduating, retiring, a big birthday, an anniversary, an empty nest, or a fresh start. Let's celebrate!
All that to say, I'm here to do as much or as little as you need. You can hand me the whole thing, or just run your plan by me. Either way, the goal is the same: you get the most out of the time and money you spend and create beautiful, long-lasting memories.
Travel Style
Off the beaten path but not roughing it. I want the restaurants locals go to, the boutique hotel with an actual history and vibe, the hike that was equal parts about the journey and the destination, and the conversation with a stranger that stays with you for years. I’m drawn to nature, culture, and experiences that help you grow, reconnect, and return home a slightly better version of yourself. I don’t have one set travel style, and that’s what makes me a better advisor. I love a spontaneous last-minute escape just as much as a big bucket-list trip that gives you something to look forward to for months. I’ve traveled as a baseball mom for tournaments across Texas and other states, as part of a couple choosing vacations from luxury resorts to non-stop exploration, and as a friend who wants to try everything on the menu and loves sharing it all. My ideal trip is one with a solid foundation, enough structure that I know I’m not missing anything or wasting time, but also with enough breathing room to be open to the unexpected. That said, I plan for your style, not mine. If you want every hour mapped out, I can do that. If you want to know where you’re sleeping and figure out the rest by wandering and asking locals, I can set you up for that too.

Rachel Belkin made our trip unforgettable: highly recommend.
Rachel was a joy to work with. Our initial call helped her capture exactly what we wanted, and she turned it into a clear, organized plan. She handled accommodations, rental car, and activities, all researched and reviewed to make sure everything was a great fit for our group and she was upfront about what to skip.
When we hit a minor snag with one of our accommodations mid-trip, she resolved it quickly.
Her attention to detail and thoughtful planning made the trip memorable for everyone, adults and kids alike. If you want an agent who truly listens and turns your vision into reality, Rachel is the one to call.
