My Travel Style
I’ve been lucky to have visited many dreamy locations and have discovered that there are elements that have made some trips better than others. I enjoy an itinerary that has excursions to visit the must-sees and time to take the paths less traveled and experience authentic culture. My favorite hotels are well-appointed boutique hotels that have a touch of whimsy, serve delicious coffee, have comfy beds, friendly staff, knowledgeable/proactive concierge — and a good bartender doesn't hurt.
After years of event planning, I’ve changed my focus to travel. I'm addicted to trip planning. I lose track of time exploring and learning about destinations, hotels and restaurants. This was our first time booking internationally with Pilar. Despite the last minute nature of our trip (and a complete change of location), Pilar was able to find us this hidden gem of a hotel in Mallorca during the busy month of August. It was charming, centrally located, and reasonably priced for the high season. Extra touches like the personal welcome from the manager and daily breakfast were appreciated. Another booking well done!

Thanks for all your good help, Pilar! We had a fantastic trip! We LOVED all the other hotels. and thanks for all your patience with us. I would say that it would be good if Expedia Customer Service were more helpful to us and also if a more elegant hotel and activity list were generated before leaving. Pilar was super helpful and responsive.

Another wonderful experience with Pilar! We booked for the busy Mother’s Day weekend. We received a warm, friendly check in and an upgraded room - thank you Pilar! We ended up with a large, ocean front room, with terrific views. Resort credits, late check out were all lovely benefits as well. This was neither the first, nor last, time that we will book with Pilar. Highly recommend.

Pilar found this fabulous hotel in a great location knowing that having a health club was important to us. It was also well located for the train station (where we arrived from Porto) and the airport where we were flying the next morning. Also close to Eleven restaurant which we were excited to try. Pilar did her research in finding this gem!
