I am a retired tech industry professional with a deep passion for sustainable and immersive travel experiences. As an avid traveler and "empty nester," I particularly enjoy planning and experiencing trips for couples, drawing from personal experience to create meaningful journeys. With a travel portfolio that spans India, Morocco, Peru, African safaris and destinations like Costa Rica, Japan, Spain, Portugal, Italy and Greece, I am dedicated to exploring the world in a way that is both enriching and environmentally conscious. This was our first time working with a travel advisor and Padma was amazing - we can't wait to work with her again. At first we just wanted hotel recommendations from her, but after she found us several awesome properties that exactly fit what we were looking for, we decided to ask her assistance in helping plan the entire trip. Padma sent us a curated list of activities and we chose several that all turned out to be extremely enjoyable. We had a tough factor of one of us being vegetarian, and Padma went to lengths to find us great restaurants (including working with our hotels) that had both non-vegetarian and vegetarian options. We began planning our trip a bit late but Padma still made sure to find options that were not sold out, and kept us on-schedule by being extremely communicative. From just one initial phone call she really understood the kind of travel experience we wanted to have and made it happen for us! We can't thank Padma enough for helping us plan an extremely memorable trip to Japan!!

Padma was an incredible travel advisor! We couldn’t be happier with how thoughtful, detail oriented, and helpful she was while planning our honeymoon. We went to Sri Lanka which required a lot of communication with Resplendent Traveler a company on the ground there. Padma was an effective communicator between all parties. She planned a trip that was well balanced between cultural activities, adventures, relaxation and more. Many family members and friends want to go on the same trip based on pictures and stories. We would definitely recommend Padma to anyone needing help booking a trip!

The Sights and Tastes of Marrakech
Marrakech, the Ochre City, one of the Imperial cities of Morocco, is fascinating — the sights, the sounds, the energy of this city, where you can experience the old and the new, historical monuments and modern luxuries all within the medina, make this urban oasis a very interesting place. You have to visit Marrakech to experience the Jemaa-el-Fnaa square, which brings to mind (at least for me) The Alchemist!

In September 2023, I completed a site inspection while spending a couple of days at the amazing Dar Ahlam (meaning Home of Dreams), where they really try to make your dreams come true! This is not a stay, but truly a wonderful experience that I would highly recommend, particularly to couples and honeymooners.

Site inspection at Hotel Altstadt, Vienna, a Small Luxury Hotel
In October of 2024, I had the opportunity to spend a couple of nights at Hotel Altstadt in Vienna. The property is situated about 25 minutes from the center of the old town, which offers a quieter experience for travelers. There are several excellent bars and restaurants within walking distance of the hotel, which make it very convenient for the guests. Last, but certainly not the least, the property is almost an art gallery, with each room carefully curated to match a theme, down to the detail of the books on the bookshelf!
