What unfolded was a full love affair with the Nordic way of life: a city built on 14 islands, effortlessly beautiful and impeccably clean, where royal palaces and ancient cobblestone streets sit alongside world-class restaurants, legendary bakeries, and some of the best wine bars I've ever walked into. In May, Stockholm is bathed in long golden light, the parks are in full bloom, and the whole city seems to spill outdoors, into garden cafés, floating bars on the waterfront, and lively streets that hum well into the evening. We came for one night of music. We left having fallen completely in love with a city that does everything right.
