Starting at eight years old, every summer, my grandmother and I would fly across the country to different national parks and explore the surrounding areas. These adventures were the starting point for my love of travel. After graduating college, I quickly earned my private pilot license and started working for a disaster relief company, allowing me to see these unfamiliar places at both their best and their worst, whether I’m by myself, with my family or with my sweet dog, Louie.
