When not traveling or planning trips, I am out enjoying the North Shore of MA. One of my many travel goals is to visit all seven continents. I just have Australia and Antarctica left.
My travel style
I like all types of travel! I can go from a packed self-drive itinerary with changes of hotels every few days to relaxing at an all-inclusive where I don’t have to plan anything. I typically like to experience new cultures and food as well as find off-the-beaten-path activities and hotels. Next up (hopefully soon) is an Antarctica exploration cruise.
Sleeping Giant Rainforest Lodge
Within the Sibun Nature Reserve, this secluded hideaway sets the scene for rest, relaxation and knockout jungle views.
Grand Wailea A Waldorf Astoria Resort
A beachfront belle on 40 tropical acres, known for its authentic cultural workshops, huge pool and pampering spa, and gorgeous over-lagoon restaurant.
$100 resort credit.
Upgrade & extended check-in/out whenever possible.
Glacier View Lodge
Chalet-style property located in Jasper National Park with standard rooms offering views of the mountains and glaciers.
Recently returned from:
Taking a winter self-drive tour of the South and West of Iceland (Northern Lights).
Exploring on an autumn self-drive tour of Banff and Jasper National Parks in Canada.
Jumping between the beach and jungle on vacation in Belize, with a one day trip to see the Tikal Mayan ruins in Guatemala.
Splitting my time between a villa stay and an all-inclusive resort on St Lucia.
Exploration cruise to Antarctica.
Shopping the bazaars and enjoying the food in Morocco.
Kenya and Tanzania safari, with a stop at the beaches of Zanzibar.
Staying at an overwater bungalow in the Maldives.
One thing I can't travel without...
Two truths, one lie:
I spent a month touring Australia.
I was questioned by the French police in a metro station in Paris.
I circumnavigated the globe on a ship.
