My Story
I first caught the travel bug when I was 6 years old and had already lived in 3 countries! The wild ride has continued since then, moving around for my career, travelling as a tourist, a travel writer and as a travel advisor. I have been lucky enough to explore extensively -- and write about -- every continent (except Antarctica, that remains on my bucket list, if you'd care to join), establish connections throughout them, and learn local cultures and languages, enabling me to provide travellers with a uniquely tailored travel experience. I'm originally from Italy, grew up around Europe and the US and currently reside in Denmark with my Danish wife and son. Below you can find a taste of what working with me as a travel advisor can look like. If it peaks your interest, simply fill out the form at the bottom and I'll get back to you!
My Travel Style
Like many travel advisors, I am on a quest to provide you with the most authentic experience possible catered to your needs and travel style. I work closely with all my clients to craft detailed itineraries aimed to fulfill their travel goals. The idea is that I focus on the coordination, logistics and planning while you just... experience! I seek to square the circle between luxury, adventure and experiencing the local culture. Whether that be a foodie stopover in Singapore, skiing in the Dolomites, horseback riding in Patagonia, visiting funky design museums in the Nordics or just lounging on a beach for two weeks with a cold piña colada, chances are I've been there and done that or at least have a partner that has. Nicola went above and beyond. He curated the most wonderful and intentional 2 weeks in Denmark for us. He worked with us diligently in the months and weeks leading up to the trip to make sure we got in everything we wanted to see and do. While in Denmark he was available and responsive for little things that popped up. I would recommend Nicola to anyone looking to experience a trip of a lifetime in Denmark or abroad!

He was very nice to work with! Promptly responded and always gave helpful information. This is my first time using an agent and next time I may know how to ask for more specific help. For example, I would have liked more specific daily itineraries with information such as parking and ticket prices rather than just ideas for activities. I should have also given more information on the types of restaurants and activities we like. However, he picked lovely hotels, brought us places we never would have thought of (Garmisch-Partenkirchen), and was very kind and helpful! We would recommend him to others traveling in Europe!

Great communication. Very responsive. Arranged wonderful meals throughout the trip. Even helped us to hire a local babysitter and have a date night at a Michelin-starred restaurant.

With an average of 320 sunny days per year, it is little wonder that Malaga is steadily becoming one of the best places to live in Europe. The guide below is curated to help you get to know every side of Spain's sixth-largest city!

Discover Madeira: Portugal's Atlantic Gem
With its location 700 miles off the coast of mainland Portugal and given the plethora of other European islands, Madeira remains one of the Atlantic's most underrated holiday destinations. It's year-round warm (but not hot) climate, great food, hiking, sailing and the vibrant capital city of Funchal ensure there is something for everyone on Portugal's Atlantic Gem. After having explored the island in-depth, I have put together the below guide, enjoy!

A Caribbean Honeymoon: Half Moon, Montego Bay
When you come to Montego Bay, all you have to do is take the ten-minute shuttle to the Half Moon (provided by the hotel) and the rest will be taken care of for you... without ever having to leave the property.

Villa Sant' Andrea: The White Lotus 2.0
Sicily has gone from being the hidden gem of Italian tourism to a jet-set exclusive luxury getaway over the last ten years. Now, to top things off, it has gone full Hollywood thanks to The White Lotus! I stayed at Belmond's Villa Sant'Andrea in Taormina in October 2022, and can confirm that it is difficult to have a more luxurious experience than this. The trip of a lifetime awaits!

The Most Iconic Hotel in Argentina: Llao Llao
Perched upon a bluff sandwiched in between two lakes sits the Llao Llao — Bariloche’s answer to Stephen King’s Overlook Hotel in Sidewinder, Colorado. During our honeymoon, my wife and I stopped at the Llao Llao in Bariloche for three nights before crossing the Andes to go deeper into Patagonia. The hotel provided all the luxury, sport and views we needed to proceed on our journey!

10 Days In Magical Bhutan
Chances are you will not have run into many people that have actually been to Bhutan, but anybody that has will describe it as magical. Bhutan blends well-preserved natural beauty with world-class hiking and an immersion into Buddhism. The Himalayan landscape is steep, yet breathtaking from all angles. The hotel selection is humbly luxurious, and the locals are distinctively hospitable. The best part is that it still remains a relatively off-the-beaten path destination, and you will not be troubled by mass tourism. If this sounds magical enough for you, then check out the itinerary I have curated below!

Winter Wonderland in the Dolomites
The Dolomites represent the best that the Italian side of the Alps - and the Alps - has to offer. I have been traveling to this part of Italy for over 25 years and still manage to remain enamored every time I set foot at the base of the golden-bronze-craved massifs. Skiing will bring you to the Dolomites in the winter. Everything else will bring you back time and time again!

London Calling: An Alternative Getaway
London is the type of metropolis that you could visit over and over again without tiring of things to see. This itinerary is something I like to propose to my clients that have already saturated the touristy hotspots and would like to focus their stay on local vibes and a luxurious experience.

Exploring the Medieval Manhattan: San Gimignano
Welcome to my hometown! My family has had a house in the countryside surrounding San Gimignano for a few years now and we all travel there every chance we get. The Manhattan of the Medieval Ages with its seven towers (or eight or nine - it's up for debate at the local bars) perched upon a 400-meter high hill overlooking the beautiful rolling Tuscan hills with Vernaccia wineries and olive trees lining them is a UNESCO world heritage site that never disappoints.

A Patagonian Adventure
We have all read, watched or heard something about the wondrous of Patagonia and yet it remains an elusive destination for many. The distance and vastness make it nearly overwhelming. As such, I have compiled an itinerary based on my own recent adventures on both the Chilean and Argentinian sides of the region. Take in the breathtaking views, meet the friendly locals and savor the local cuisine.

Exploring Ischia: Italy's Most Under-Appreciated Island
Italy's third most populous island is constantly undermined and overshadowed by its more luxurious cousin, Capri, to the southeast and the Instagram-friendly Amalfi coast. On top of that, the Ischitani are not necessarily brilliant marketeers, a trait which does not lend itself to mass-tourism. Then again, it may be this very lack of mass-tourism which made me fall in love with the island and put together this guide for you!

A Local's Guide to Copenhagen
Over the past two decades, the Danish capital has transformed itself into Europe's capital of cool. There is something for everybody in Copenhagen: from hipster cafes to Michelin star restaurants; from modern avant-garde Nordic design to classical 18th century 'potato houses'. This guide presents a local's perspective on how to visit Copenhagen based on my experience of living here for the last five years. Walk like a Copenhagener, eat like one and get your 'hygge' on!

Escape Winter in Dreamy Marbella
Marbella is the ultimate luxury getaway on Spain's southern Costa del Sol. It is the place to see and be seen. The landscape, set against a mountainous backdrop, overlooking the Gibraltar Strait and Northern Africa, is about as dreamy as you can find anywhere. It is also one of the few places in continental Europe with a year-round warm climate. My family and I escaped our cold winter in Denmark, to spend five weeks in Marbella this year, and I can only recommend it! There is nothing quite like sitting in shorts watching a sunset on a beach in January while all your friends are back home shoveling snow.

A Calcio Lover's Guide to Italy
Calcio is not only the Italian word for football — it is also something as uniquely Italian as pizza, espresso and Prada. In Italy, calcio is more than just 22 people kicking a ball on a pitch. The best way to truly understand all the idiosyncrasies of Italian culture and the passion of its people is by diving deep into their cultural obsessions. Nothing brings the country together, divides it and provides historical context better than the national pastime. This alternative guide to Italy will take you through some cultural landmarks that you may have never considered before!

Barcelona Off the Beaten Track
Barcelona calls all types of tourists with its amazing climate, gothic architecture and stellar food scene, but its hotspots have become overly crowded over the last decade. If you would still like to enjoy Barcelona but see another — more local and less crowded — side of it, then this guide is for you! Everyone should try to get to the Catalan Capital at least once a year, doing it differently can ensure you never get bored.
