My Story

Hi, I’m Myrtle Pena, founder of Vacation Theory Travel.

I created this brand to advocate for rest and reprieve. Life moves quickly, and the theory that we can always do it later, experience it “someday”, is never guaranteed.

Vacation Theory Travel is deeply personal to me. I dedicate it to my aunt, whose memory continues to inspire the way I think about travel and time. For years, we dreamed of travel together, backpacking through Europe and retreating to Cabo San Lucas. When the time finally came to plan our Cabo trip, she took her final breath, and we never had the chance to take the journey.

That loss changed how I think about travel. It taught me that the most meaningful luxury is not just the destination but the ability to slow down and truly experience life while you can.

From iconic taxi rides through New York City to helicopter transfers over the coastline of St. Lucia, I focus on the small, thoughtful details that elevate a journey. Myrtle Pena did an excellent job, she's taking care everything for me, my husband and my friends, from booking up to the end of this wonderful trip. Even in our dine in she reserved our table & we didn’t have any problem encountered on this trip. She's doing excellent booking for our group. Looking for another booking in the future.
