Travel Style
Whether I'm island-hopping, visiting family and friends across the mainland US or venturing abroad, my travels always begin with the classics — those iconic landmarks that give you a first taste of a place. But soon after, I love stepping off the beaten path. A quick chat with a neighborhood bartender or a local shop owner often leads me to hidden gems that you can’t find on a tourist map. To me, responsible tourism is more than just seeing the sights — it’s about immersing myself in the culture and community, respecting the way locals live and seeing the world through their eyes. With a background in travel industry management and a childhood spent in a popular tourist destination, I have a deep appreciation for authentic experiences. I seek out the quirky boutiques, the next gastronomic delight, and I’m always chasing my next adventure — be it skydiving over breathtaking landscapes, wandering through the heart of nature or diving into an excursion that takes me somewhere unexpected. Whether I’m indulging in luxury or stretching my travel points to the max, I always take time to honor the stories, the care and the craftsmanship that make each destination unique.

Monique was a pleasure to work with. We highly recommend her. Communication was timely and clear. She had very helpful tips and recommendations for our trip to Osaka. The hotel (Hotel Sails) she picked out for us was perfect and extremely close to the train station, Osaka World Expo, aquarium, Universal Studios, Ferris wheel, and shops.
Monique was in constant contact with us and made sure to ask questions to ensure we had the perfect trip. We will use her again for other trips!
