My Story
I spent years as a lawyer before I became a travel advisor, which means I came to this work already trained to ask the second and third questions, not just the first. I’ve explored the world since I was a student backpacking through Europe and China, and later as an international lawyer who circled the globe for work rather than pleasure. Now I’m a husband and father who builds trips around history, beauty, and the people I love. Stillpoint Travels grew out of that. Let’s plan a journey that stays with you.
Travel Style
Travel, done well, is closer to pilgrimage than to vacation. I design trips that go deep rather than wide: fewer stops, more time at each one, room in the schedule for a place to actually land on you. A cathedral is more interesting with context than without it, and a family trip is better when the kids are genuinely engaged rather than merely present. I work with families, small groups, and travelers marking a new chapter in life who want their trip to mean something, not just fill a week. History, culture, faith where it’s relevant, and a real sense of place: that’s what I build every itinerary around.

Trip Report: Family Fun at Woodloch Resort
There are places that remind you how good it feels to simply play again—to unplug, to laugh together, and to share a table without rushing off to the next thing. For our family, that place was Woodloch Resort in the Pocono Mountains.

Four Days in Paris with Pre-Teen Boys
World-class art, rich history, romantic charm, and gastronomic delights, the ultimate adult vacation, right? Well, yes, but if you think your children won’t enjoy it, too, think again. Check out this kid-friendly, four day itinerary for the City of Lights.

3 Days in London with Harry Potter-Loving Tweens
I studied abroad in England and fell in love with London many years ago. Cultural and educational opportunities abound, so there’s no need to feel guilty about taking the kids out of school for a trip. They loved the Harry Potter tours, the double-decker buses, and the Thames Rocket boat, and they tolerated the museums and churches.
