My Story
Happiest when planning a trip or being on a trip — cities, museums and memorable experiences. Sitting on a beach is a waste of a plane ride, in my opinion.
My Travel Style
I specialize in family trips with older teens and young adult children. Finding the most memorable activities – accordion lessons in Paris, ferret training in Scotland, skeet shooting in Idaho. It’s such fun to build anticipation before a trip by spending countless hours finding the coolest things to see and do. Since I love a "working" vacation where there’s sightseeing and action all day, I require a hotel that feels relaxing and luxurious. I don’t need the royal treatment. I love a well-priced boutique hotel. There is no greater joy than finding the most off-the-beaten-path thing to see or do in a special place and then sharing that experience with my family. I love providing my kids with lifelong memories (not to mention the photos to share).

Meredith from Fora is the reason that this was such an extraordinary trip. One advantage is that many of the amenities that we received were due toFora’s relationship with the hotel. Meredith was extremely communicative, transparent and thorough in understanding exactly what we were looking for in this trip. I would highly recommend using her.

Meredith is a rock star. She is super prompt and responsive - has great suggestions and does a good job coming up with room combinations that work for our family. She always checks in with us before, during, and after our stay to see how things are going. And in the past when we've had trouble, she quickly intercedes to resolve the issue. I wouldn't go with anyone else!!

Scotland is nothing short of magical. It's history is so vast and incredibly old that it's hard to wrap my American brain around. Each structure has been standing where it is for hundreds of years and everywhere you look there is a story to tell. The people are friendly and curious. The city is easy to navigate and you can reach all the attractions on foot, which is great if you are afraid of driving on the left side of the road (like me).
