My Story
Happiest when planning a trip or being on a trip — cities, museums and memorable experiences. With so much to see in the world, I sometimes think that sitting on a beach is a waste of a plane ride.
Travel Style
I specialize in family trips for households with older teens and young adult children, built around the activities that make a trip unforgettable: accordion lessons in Paris, ferret handling in Scotland, an afternoon of skeet shooting in Idaho. These are not add-ons. They are the point.
I plan for what I call a working vacation, cultural exploration and activity all day, which means the hotel matters, but not in the way people assume. I am not chasing the most opulent property in town. I look for a well-priced boutique hotel that feels relaxing and quietly luxurious, somewhere to land after a full day with service and personal touches you'll remember.
What drives me most is finding the off-the-beaten-path experience nobody else knows about, then handing that discovery to a family and watching it become a lifelong memory, plus the photos to prove it.

Scotland is nothing short of magical. It's history is so vast and incredibly old that it's hard to wrap my American brain around. Each structure has been standing where it is for hundreds of years and everywhere you look there is a story to tell. The people are friendly and curious. The city is easy to navigate and you can reach all the attractions on foot, which is great if you are afraid of driving on the left side of the road (like me).
