My Story

I’ve been traveling my whole life—across continents, cultures, and every kind of trip you can imagine, from family adventures with kids in tow to solo city escapes to milestone trips worth saving for. That lifetime of going places (and learning the hard way what works and what doesn’t) is what I bring to every itinerary I plan. I’m endlessly curious about people and places, and I love the moment a client comes back from a trip and tells me about the tiny restaurant, the quiet morning, the thing they didn’t expect to love most.

Travel Style

I’m a hole-in-the-wall over hot-spot kind of planner. Ask me for the best pasta in Rome and I won’t tell you where the line is. I’ll send you where the nonna is. Whether you’re chasing culture, craving a real break, or trying to make a family trip work for four very different people, I’ll build something that actually fits you. Food you’ll remember, stays that feel like somewhere instead of anywhere, and just enough structure to leave room for the happy accidents that make travel worth it.

travel to Ireland

Melissa planned our trip from start to finish and did a superb job! She took in information from 7 adults (average age 70) and curated that into an exceptional tour of Ireland. We spent 3-4 days each in County Clare, Connemara, Tipperary, and Dublin. Melissa arranged all of our transportation to and from each location and made our hotel arrangements. She also found us day tours and drivers to enjoy highlights such as the Cliffs of Moher and the Burren, Kylemoree Abbey and the Victorian Walled Gardens, Inisher Island, Sean’s Pub, the Rock of Cashel, the Guinness Storehouse, the Jameson’s Distiller, and Powerscourt and Glendalough, to name a few. The group favorite, hands-down, was watching the sheep dog herding sheep and feeding the baby lambs. A truly magical vacation. Oh, and Ireland did its part by having sunny skies and truly friendly people everywhere!

Melissa curated the perfect experience for our group at our final stop in Dublin. The hotel location was ideal - very walkable to the sites of interest. Melissa booked tours at the Guinness Storehouse and Jameson’s Distillery. We visited the Book of Kell at Trinity College and took a tour to Powerscourt and Glendalough. Dublin was the finish of our truly exceptional trip to Ireland and Melissa made it even more enjoyable with her expertise and relieving the stress of travel.

Our travel advisor worked closely with our group of 7 people to be sure our individual needs were addressed as we moved through the planning steps for our trip. Melissa has good communication skills and even helped address our needs when our plane had air conditioning problems and we had to switch plans. She offered us a well written letter that we could use to help us be sure that our passengers rights were addressed.

Could not have had as good of a trip without Melissa! She took so much stress off of my shoulders and planned me the perfect trip at my budget. I don’t know if I can ever plan a trip without her now!
