My Story
My family is scattered all over, across New England, Florida, and more—so I travel to see them often, and cruises have become our go-to way to bring everyone together. Siblings, cousins, aunts and uncles, grandparents, and kids all pick their own pace and activities along with plenty of built-in family time! I used to think cruising was mostly about beaches and shopping, but I've fallen in love with the unique excursions and cultural experiences I've had on these trips. I’m now a CLIA member working toward my Certified Cruise Counselor designation, and (as a proud word nerd) I run Wander/Ling, a YouTube channel that dives deeper into the places I've traveled by exploring the languages spoken there.
Travel Style
Here's my travel process: before a trip, I spend all my spare time daydreaming about the destination, watching every TikTok and reel I can find, mapping out everything I could possibly want to do, and building an overly detailed itinerary (along with a capsule wardrobe). Then as soon as I land, I let it all go and just follow the vibes! I plan for every possibility so I’m never caught without options, but when I'm in vacation mode, I'm just going with the flow.
