My Story
A wine and food professional who transitioned from being a New York City-based sommelier in three Michelin-starred dining rooms to becoming a winery consultant. I am a mother of two girls and homesteader on the beautiful Central Coast.
My Travel Style
Travel should be a time to expand your mind, reset your thinking and relax your body. I believe in high-touch experiences that deepen one's understanding of the culture or area being explored. My personal focus has always been on the history and food of the regions I visit, with a particular emphasis on wine, as I am a certified sommelier. More recently, with two young daughters, I have begun to explore family-friendly travel. Most importantly, I seek balance in trips, combining exciting and educational experiences with relaxed time for processing, bonding and decompression.

Solvang is an easy drive for most of central and Southern California, but for young children, it feels like you've traveled a million miles away. It's hard not to fall in love with the town. Giant music boxes will mesmerize your kids, and they will excitedly count the tiny elf homes perched on the edges of rooftops. Fortunately for adults, Solvang also offers stunning scenery, beautiful wineries and some excellent food.

Solvang is an easy drive for most of central and Southern California, but for young children, it feels like you've traveled a million miles away. It's hard not to fall in love with the town. Giant music boxes will mesmerize your kids, and they will excitedly count the tiny elf homes perched on the edges of rooftops. Fortunately for adults, Solvang also offers stunning scenery, beautiful wineries and some excellent food.

Located between Los Angeles and San Fransisco, only 20 minutes from the Pacific Ocean and the scenic Highway 1, Paso Robles is a great place to get away for a few days or to add to any California road trip. Paso boasts celebrated wineries and restaurants, while still maintaining the friendly and inviting demeanor of a small agricultural town. Spend a day wine tasting but throw in an olive oil tasting for the underaged. Trade your kids a day at our locally owned and operated water park, then head out to a Michelin-rated restaurant for dinner. Older kids will love a day zip-lining at Santa Margarita Ranch, while younger children can explore the outdoor play zone at Jack Creek Farms.
