We began thinking about a safari trip focused on South Africa in mid-2024. After quite a bit of time considering different sources and how to coordinate everything the information became a bit overwhelming. We decided that it would make sense to work with a travel coordinator to plan the trip. Fortunately we learned that you were working as a travel advisor and began initial discussions to flesh out the specifics of our trip. We had some ideas in mind about the key places we wanted to cover and you were very helpful in guiding us to come up with a framework for how much time we might devote to the different places and outlining options for the types of accommodations and services to be included. Your assistance in helping develop a realistic expenditure range for the trip early on in the planning set the stage for defining options for consideration.

Once we had a general framework for the trip you reached out to various vendors to convey this information and solicit proposed options. We were able to review multiple proposals and your input in considering the options and how well they matched our objectives was extremely helpful. After reviewing the options we settled on working with Exeter Safari and you did an excellent job of communicating with them and making some modifications to the initial proposal. You continued to be involved with keeping us up to date on recommendations for preparing for the trip and using the Travel Portal to provide information and keep track of the itinerary. We are happy to say that the entire trip unfolded as planned, with all scheduled flights, tours, and local assistance taking place just as expected. The accommodations were all excellent and it was a lovely touch to receive your welcoming touches when we arrived in Cape Town.

We also appreciated the assistance you provided in helping us coordinate Travel Insurance for the trip. Happily we had no need to utilize the insurance coverage, but it was nice to have your help in working out the details of how to cover our group since we were coming from two different locations.

Overall, we can't overstate how much we appreciated your attention to detail, support and ongoing responsiveness in helping us have a truly memorable safari trip! You truly have great skills and the right personality to help people with their travel plans.
