My Story

My passion for exploration began at a young age, sparked by the realization that distant lands like England existed on islands—a fascinating concept for a boy growing up in South Florida. This led to a lifelong love of geography, travel, and cultural immersion, understanding that experiences like food are powerful gateways to far-off places.

My culinary journey started in Boynton Beach, FL, where I was fortunate to learn Northern Italian cooking from a cherished neighbor. Under their tutelage, I mastered gnocchi by age 12, igniting a deep appreciation for Italy. My college study abroad in London provided the long-awaited opportunity to travel throughout Europe, gaining extensive first-hand knowledge of England, Scotland, Ireland, Italy, France, Germany, Spain, Belgium, The Netherlands, Austria, Denmark, and Switzerland.

My connection to Italy deepened after meeting my husband, who had spent his high school and college years traveling to southeastern Sicily to run enrichment programs for local children. Their enthusiastic engagement inspired him to learn Italian. Together, we have returned numerous times to towns like Pachino, Marzamemi, Catania, Noto, and Portopalo, eager to share the authentic, daily rhythm of small-town Sicilian life with friends and family.

Beyond my deep Italian expertise, I also enjoy frequent travel to locations such as Paris, Champagne, and Germany, alongside domestic exploration (with a trip to Denver soon!). I specialize in curating high-quality, detailed travel experiences, whether for individual clients, sophisticated group bookings, or specialized retreats.
