Matt planned the perfect long weekend. Just a quick flight from NYC, Le Chateau Frontenac is the place to be in Quebec City, so glad he recommended it. Matt also suggested a fantastic walking tour and a tasting dinner at a Michelin starred restaurant. The view of this hotel in the evening is stunning, right out of a fairytale. Very special getaway!!!

Matt was fantastic to work with for our trip to Iguazú and Buenos Aires. He handled all the bookings seamlessly and offered thoughtful suggestions that really enhanced our experience—especially around timing and hotel choices.
What stood out most was his attention to detail and follow-through: he checked in before the trip to make sure everything was set, and followed up afterward to hear how it went. That kind of care is rare and much appreciated.
Highly recommend Matt if you’re looking for someone who’s knowledgeable, responsive, and genuinely invested in making your travel smooth and memorable.

Matt was a huge help in planning my accommodation in Chicago for a friend's wedding! He laid out very clear options, assessing the pros and cons of each and was meticulous in his planning. He was very responsive and a pleasure to work with. I will be working with Matt for all travel needs moving forward!

I've worked with Matt multiple times now and always have a good experience. He is always an excellent resource, and I always consult him for trips to destinations that I am less familiar with. On this occasion, Matt helped locate a great option for me for a backpacking trip.

Rhine Reflections: An Enchanting River Cruise
Many of us, when planning travel, have the tendency to cram multiple stops into our itineraries because we don’t want to miss out on something. Oftentimes, that leads to more time in cars, trains, or planes, and less time doing the things we actually came for. The unique advantage of river cruising lies in its convenience, providing the ability to cover several cities without the constant burden of packing and unpacking or the logistical stresses of constant transportation. Pair this benefit with a touch of luxury, as you can expect with AmaWaterways, and you are in for a treat.

Mexico City with Friends
When people ask about an ideal destination for a small group trip, my answer is almost always Mexico City. CDMX will undoubtedly provide something for each person in your group: world-class cuisine, buzzing nightlife, rich history, and—perhaps something less documented—unexpected pockets of lush greenery. While Mexico City could be a great destination for couples or families, this guide is group-oriented, offering inspiration for a long weekend retreat with friends or a bachelorette.

48 Hours in Bangkok
If you are planning a trip to Thailand, you are likely considering spending some amount of time in Bangkok. As the lone major metropolitan area and hub of international travel in Thailand, Bangkok makes sense as a launch point for other destinations in Thailand, such as Chiang Mai, Phuket, or Krabi. This 48-hour itinerary aims to provide some structure to a city often characterized by chaos so that you can start—or finish—your Thailand adventure with a flourish.

A First-Timer's Guide to Japan
Japan is the destination that shaped my desire to become a travel advisor. Throughout my time in Japan, I was stunned by the one-of-a-kind blend of ancient traditions, vibrant cityscapes, and, of course, the unparalleled culinary experience. More so than anywhere else I have visited, my personal interactions in Japan felt particularly intimate—be it at an eight-person sushi counter or in the streets of Shibuya. For many people considering travel to Japan, the process can be daunting: What cities should I visit? What activities should I plan? Where should I eat? How long should my trip be? I hope this guide gives you the confidence to start answering these questions!
